Job Description Job Title: Assembler Job Description This role focuses on the manufacturing and assembly of industrial power systems, with a strong emphasis on wiring and assembling electrical components. You will interpret schematics and engineering drawings, use a wide range of hand and power tools, and work on large units that can reach up to 8 feet in height. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work in a fast-paced production environment and takes pride in building high-quality electrical assemblies. Responsibilities • Assemble industrial power systems according to engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, blueprints, and process sheets., • Wire electrical components accurately and neatly to meet quality and safety standards., • Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, blueprints, and other technical documents to complete assembly tasks., • Use hand tools and power tools such as power drills, wire crimpers, wire strippers, screwdrivers, hammers, and tape measures to perform daily work., • Measure and cut materials accurately using a tape measure and other measuring tools., • Work on assemblies that may reach up to 8 feet in height, including standing on ladders as needed to complete builds., • Stand for the entire shift while performing repetitive assembly and wiring tasks on the production floor., • Follow production processes and instructions to meet daily output and quality goals., • Maintain a clean and organized work area and handle tools and equipment safely., • Collaborate with team members and leads to troubleshoot issues and ensure assemblies meet specifications., • Adhere to all safety policies, including the use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) in a manufacturing environment. Essential Skills • Experience in wiring electrical components in a manufacturing, maintenance, installation, or other electrical setting., • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, schematics, and process sheets., • Proficiency using hand tools and power tools, including power drills, wire crimpers, wire strippers, screwdrivers, hammers, and tape measures., • Ability to read and accurately use a tape measure., • High school diploma or GED., • Comfort working on ladders and at heights up to approximately 8 feet when required for assembly., • Ability to stand for the entire shift in a production environment., • Willingness and availability to work a schedule of 6:00am–4:30pm Monday through Friday and 6:00am–12:30pm on Saturdays. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience in manufacturing, construction, handyman work, HVAC, automotive, or other hands-on trades is a plus., • Experience with electrical assembly, soldering, or general electrical work is beneficial., • Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with mechanical assembly practices., • Interest in learning additional skills such as mechanical assembly, welding, CNC machinery operation, electrical testing, paint line operations, and panel wiring., • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed technical instructions., • Ability to work effectively as part of a production team in a busy environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
