Job DescriptionMaterial Handler (1st & 2nd Shift) Location: North Jacksonville, FL Pay: $17.50 - $18.00 per Hour Shift Differential: 10% Additional Pay for 2nd Shift Job Type: Full-Time | Overtime Available Available Shifts • 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, • Day Shift: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM, • 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PMJoin a Growing Manufacturing Team We are seeking dependable and hardworking Material Handlers to support shipping, receiving, inventory management, and production operations in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment. What You'll Do • Receive incoming materials and verify shipments against packing slips and purchase orders, • Perform inventory control duties, including cycle counts and stock tracking, • Stage materials throughout the production floor to support manufacturing operations, • Load, unload, move, and organize materials and components, • Lift and move materials weighing 50-75 pounds regularly, • Operate a sit-down forklift as needed for material movement and shipping support, • Palletize, package, wrap, and prepare finished goods for shipment, • Label products and shipments for accurate inventory and delivery tracking, • Complete basic computer and Excel data entry for inventory and shipping records, • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, • Remain on your feet for most of the workdayRequired Qualifications, • Previous experience in shipping, receiving, inventory control, or material handling, • Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or heavy-labor warehouse environment, • Ability to consistently lift 50+ pounds throughout the shift, • Experience performing inventory counts and material tracking, • Basic computer skills and experience with Excel data entry, • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment, • Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safetyPreferred Qualifications, • Manufacturing experience, • Sit-down forklift experience, • Experience working with metal materials or fabricated components, • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn technical skillsWhy You'll Love This Opportunity This position offers a clear path to permanent employment and long-term career growth.
