ppMarlink Group is seeking a dynamic and visionary Vice President of Cloud and IT Solutions to lead the strategy, development, and management of our Cloud and IT product portfolio. This senior leadership role will drive the innovation and growth of Marlink’s Cloud and IT solutions, strengthening our position in maritime and enterprise managed digital services. /ppThe successful candidate will possess a strong entrepreneurial mindset, with a proven track record in cloud and IT product management. This role requires a strategic thinker who can seamlessly blend technology expertise with business acumen to deliver high‑value solutions across the Marlink Group. The VP of Cloud and IT Solutions will be responsible for both existing products and the development of new offerings, ensuring they meet market demands and drive revenue growth. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3h3Strategic Leadership /h3ulliLead and develop the Cloud and IT Solutions practice, defining and executing a strategic roadmap that aligns with Marlink’s overall business and strategic objectives. /liliIdentify market trends, customer needs, and technological advancements to shape the future direction of Marlink’s Cloud and IT product offerings. /liliDrive innovation within the team, fostering creativity and forward‑thinking to maintain a competitive edge. /liliPosition Cloud IT as a core pillar of Marlink’s integrated one‑stop‑shop offer alongside Connectivity, Network, Platform, Cyber and OT/IoT. /li /ulh3Product Management /h3ulliOversee the entire lifecycle of Cloud and IT products, from ideation and development to market launch and post‑launch management. /liliCollaborate with cross‑functional teams, including engineering, sales, marketing, BU product managers and customer support, to ensure product success. /liliDefine product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs. /liliWork together with Business Unit product management for go‑to‑market strategies, working closely with sales and marketing teams to drive product adoption and revenue growth. /li /ulh3Business Development /h3ulliCarry full PL accountability for the Cloud IT domain: revenue growth, margin, pricing and investment cases, with targets set and held with the Business Units. /liliIdentify and evaluate new business opportunities within the Cloud and IT space, including potential partnerships, acquisitions, and other growth strategies. /liliLead the team of expert sales and solution architects to support the BU sales and pre‑sales teams. /liliDevelop business cases and financial models to support investment in new products and technologies. /liliWork with the BU sales and product management teams to identify key customer segments and develop tailored solutions that meet their specific needs. /liliBuild and lead a high‑performing team of product managers/heads of product, sales experts, and solution architects. /liliResponsible for developing and managing a lean Cloud IT practice that spans across build, test and learn processes. /liliCoordinate the Business Unit product managers on a dotted‑line basis, so the domain roadmap is executed consistently across the markets while they remain anchored in their Business Units. /liliMentor and develop team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. /liliFoster cross functional communication and collaboration across all the stakeholder departments.
