Job Description Job Title: Warehouse Associate Job Description The Warehouse Associate processes customer orders and handles boxes of files, books, binders, and other materials in a fast-paced, physical environment. This role involves manual lifting, carrying, and arranging boxes while performing tasks that require standing, stooping, crawling, kneeling, and twisting throughout the shift. Responsibilities • Process incoming and outgoing orders accurately and efficiently., • Lift, carry, and move boxes containing files, books, binders, backup tapes, and other materials throughout the warehouse., • Pack boxes securely to ensure items are protected and organized for storage or shipment., • Use pallet jacks to move pallets and materials safely within the warehouse., • Arrange and stack boxes in designated areas, maintaining an orderly and accessible storage layout. Skills • At least 1 year of warehouse experience., • Ability to lift between 10 and 100 pounds consistently throughout the shift., • Ability to stand on your feet for approximately 8 hours per day., • Ability to safely operate a pallet jack. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience with inventory control is beneficial., • Attention to detail when packing and organizing materials., • Reliability and punctuality for a Monday through Friday daytime schedule., • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work both independently and as part of a team. Work Environment This role is based in a warehouse setting focused on packing and handling boxes. The facility is climate controlled, providing a comfortable temperature while you work. The standard shift runs from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. You spend most of the day on your feet, lifting and moving boxes, using pallet jacks, and working in storage areas that may require bending, stooping, kneeling, and twisting. Typical attire is practical, comfortable work clothing suitable for a warehouse environment and supportive footwear appropriate for standing and lifting throughout the day Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
