Job Details: • Location: Jacksonville, FL 32207, • Job Type: Travel and Local Contract, • Contract Length: 13 Weeks with possible extension Schedule: • 1 position- Weekend days (Sat-Mon 0700-1930), • 1 position- Weekend nights (Sat-Mon 1900-0730), • 2 positions - Week Days (Mon-Fri 0645-1515), • 5 positions - Week Evenings (Mon-Fri 1445-2315), • Local's Pay range: $22 - $26/hour *Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education. Duties: • Decontaminate, clean, inspect, assemble, package, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment., • Reprocess surgical scopes and probes according to manufacturer guidelines and infection control standards., • Assemble instrument trays, prepare case carts, and maintain accurate sterilization documentation., • Monitor sterilization equipment using biological and chemical indicators to ensure compliance with quality standards., • Maintain sterile inventory and support the operating room by ensuring surgical instruments and supplies are readily available. Requirements: • Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred., • Certification(s): HSPA/IAHCSMM Sterile Processing Certification (CRCST or equivalent) required. BLS Certification required., • Minimum 1 year of instrumentation experience required., • Hospital sterile processing experience preferred., • Travel experience preferred. Skills/Specialties/Technology: • Instrument decontamination and sterilization., • Surgical instrument assembly and inspection., • Flexible scope reprocessing., • Sterile storage and inventory management., • Instrumentation experience., • Basic computer knowledge., • Strong interpersonal and communication skills., • Ability to build effective working relationships., • Ability to receive and provide constructive feedback.
