Job Description Paraprofessional – Self-Contained Special Education Classroom We are seeking a dedicated Paraprofessional for the 2026-2027 school year to support students with significant disabilities in a self-contained special education program. Position Details: School Year: August 24, 2026 – June 3, 2027 Schedule: 7.25-hour workday with a 30-minute unpaid lunch Responsibilities: Provide classroom and instructional support to students with autism and other significant disabilities Assist students with academic, behavioral, and daily living needs Support students with toileting and personal care needs Work collaboratively with special education teachers and related service providers Help implement behavior support plans and maintain a positive learning environment Qualifications: Experience working with students with autism, behavioral needs, or medically complex needs preferred Ability to assist with personal care and toileting Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills School-based experience is a plus If you are passionate about supporting students with diverse learning needs and helping them succeed, we encourage you to apply!
