ppThe Financial Controlling Reporting Manager is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and transparency of the company’s financial information through robust financial controls, governance, and reporting processes. This role leads the preparation and analysis of financial results, supports business decision‑making through insightful financial analysis, and ensures compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 h3Financial Control Reporting /h3 ul liEnsure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial records, reporting, and disclosures. /li liOversee the preparation and timely delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages. /li liMaintain and strengthen financial control frameworks, ensuring compliance with corporate policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements. /li liReview and analyze financial statements, profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, cash flow, working capital, and other key financial metrics. /li liLead financial consolidation activities and ensure consistency and quality of reported information. /li liSupport forecasting, budgeting, and financial modelling activities to enable informed business decisions. /li liIdentify financial risks and recommend mitigation actions to safeguard business performance. /li /ul h3Business Partnership Analysis /h3 ul liProvide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic and operational decision‑making. /li liAnalyze business performance, cost structures, revenue trends, profitability, and investment opportunities. /li liAssess the impact of external economic developments and market conditions on business operations and financial results. /li liPartner with stakeholders across Finance and other functions to drive performance and improve financial outcomes. /li liSupport initiatives aimed at improving efficiency, standardization, and automation within financial processes. /li /ul h3Leadership Team Development /h3 ul liLead, motivate, and develop a team of finance professionals, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture. /li liManage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, development planning, and succession planning. /li liCoach and mentor team members to build capability, enhance performance, and strengthen talent pipelines. /li liAllocate resources and priorities effectively to ensure delivery of team objectives and business commitments. /li liPromote continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and professional development within the team. /li /ul h3Operational Excellence /h3 ul liDevelop and implement departmental plans aligned with the broader Finance strategy. /li liDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance controls, reporting quality, efficiency, and stakeholder experience. /li liEstablish, maintain, and optimize finance policies, procedures, and best practices. /li liLead cross-functional initiatives and collaborate with business partners to deliver sustainable solutions to complex challenges. /li /ul h3Leadership Impact /h3 ul liOperates with a high degree of autonomy within a broad strategic framework. /li liInfluences decisions, processes, and practices beyond the immediate team and functional area. /li liSolves complex business and financial challenges by identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions. /li liDemonstrates strong business acumen and understanding of cross‑functional interdependencies. /li liBalances operational execution with strategic thinking to support long‑term business objectives. /li /ul h3Qualifications Experience /h3 ul liBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. /li liSignificant experience in financial control, reporting, accounting, audit, or finance business partnering. /li liProven people leadership experience, including coaching, performance management, and talent development. /li liStrong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making capabilities. /li liDeep understanding of financial controls, accounting principles, financial reporting, and business performance management. /li liExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence across different levels of the organization. /li liExperience working in a complex, multinational, and matrix environment is preferred. /li /ul pMaersk is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace, and we embrace different styles of thinking.
