Job DescriptionStructural MIG WelderBuild Quality Steel Structures with a Growing Industry Leader We're seeking a skilled Structural MIG Welder to join our expanding fabrication team. In this role, you'll build and weld structural steel components including catwalks, stairways, handrails, platforms, and support structures used in agricultural and industrial applications. What You'll Do • Perform MIG welding and fabrication of structural steel components according to engineering drawings and specifications., • Assemble, fit, and weld catwalks, stairways, handrails, support structures, and other fabricated products., • Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work instructions to ensure accurate assembly and welding., • Operate fabrication tools and equipment including grinders, drills, impacts, and other hand tools., • Inspect completed welds and finished products to verify quality and compliance with specifications., • Meet production schedules while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and workmanship., • Operate overhead cranes and assist with unloading and handling raw materials., • Maintain organized workstations and support 5S, housekeeping, and continuous improvement initiatives., • Track scrap and production records as required., • Collaborate with supervisors, team leads, and fellow welders to ensure materials and resources are available for production., • Identify quality concerns and take corrective action when issues arise., • Follow all company safety policies and welding procedures., • Support additional fabrication and production activities as business needs require.Required Qualifications, • High school diploma or GED., • Ability to pass a weld test: 2G Single Bevel Groove on a 1-inch plate., • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings., • Ability to accurately read a tape measure and perform basic shop math., • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship., • Ability to work safely in a manufacturing and fabrication environment.Preferred Qualifications, • Experience with MIG welding and structural steel welding., • Previous experience in metal fabrication or structural steel manufacturing., • Experience assembling products directly from blueprints and drawings., • Experience operating overhead cranes, forklifts, or other material handling equipment., • Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude., • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.Why Join Our Team?Growing Company, Growing Opportunities We're investing heavily in our future and expect to double our size over the next three years. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.26 - $26.99/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
