Job DescriptionJob Title: Specialist Fulfillment (Warehouse Worker) Job Description This role supports order processing and the preparation and distribution of prescription medications within a specialty pharmacy fulfillment center. You will perform manual packing, shipping, and inventory tasks while ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with pharmacy regulations. Working Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. in a North Fayette (Pittsburgh area) facility, you will help ensure that critical, life-sustaining medications reach patients safely and on time. Responsibilities • Support order processing by preparing and distributing prescription medications using the fulfillment system., • Perform manual packing duties, including packing and shipping completed orders according to established procedures., • Verify the accuracy of orders and ensure they conform to quality standards and specifications., • Prepare packages for mailing, including proper labeling, sealing, and documentation., • Stock non-pharmaceutical products where permitted by pharmacy regulations, maintaining organized and accurate inventory., • Handle material movements such as unloading, stocking, and staging products in designated areas., • Perform shipping and receiving tasks, including checking in materials and reconciling shipments., • Conduct cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies., • Stock items in appropriate locations and ensure storage areas remain orderly and well maintained., • Label products, bins, and packages clearly and correctly to support efficient picking and packing., • Perform physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, grasping, lifting, and moving materials safely and consistently., • Assist with department training by supporting new team members and sharing best practices as needed., • Take on additional responsibilities as needed based on operational demands and sound judgment.Essential Skills, • High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution., • 1–2 years of relevant experience in warehousing, fulfillment, shipping and receiving, or a similar environment., • Good verbal and written communication skills to follow instructions and document work accurately., • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate diplomatically and maintain confidentiality., • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively, with or without accommodations., • Ability to perform physical tasks including pushing, pulling, grasping, lifting, and standing for extended periods., • Willingness to work a flexible shift schedule, including adapting to operational needs within the Monday–Friday 11:30 a.m.–8:00 p.m. timeframe., • Attention to detail and commitment to meeting quality and accuracy standards in a regulated environment.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Experience with material handling, including unloading, stocking, and organizing inventory., • Background in shipping and receiving operations within a warehouse or fulfillment setting., • Familiarity with cycle counting and basic inventory control practices., • Experience with labeling products and packages in a production or distribution environment., • Comfort working in a pharmacy-related or highly regulated setting where accuracy and timeliness are critical., • Demonstrated reliability in attendance and punctuality, supporting consistent workflow and team performance.Why Work Here? Work Environment This position is based in a specialty pharmacy fulfillment center in the North Fayette suburb of Pittsburgh, operating Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The facility ships mail order prescription medications, many of which are critical for life-sustaining treatment, so accuracy, timeliness, and attention to detail are essential. The environment is fast-paced and highly structured, with processes designed to ensure that no shipments are missed or delayed. You will work around shelving, racks, and packing stations, handling packages and inventory throughout your shift. The role is physically active, involving regular lifting (up to 50 pounds), pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Pittsburgh, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $19.00/hr.
