Job DescriptionJob Title: Warehouse Material HandlerJob Description The Warehouse Material Handler plays a critical role in supporting repair and test operations by ensuring the accurate movement, storage, and handling of electronic equipment and materials within a climate-controlled facility. This position supports production flow, inventory accuracy, and safety standards in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. It is not a pick-and-pack retail warehouse role; instead, it requires careful product handling, strict adherence to quality and ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) standards, and a strong focus on detail and accuracy. Responsibilities • Receive, stage, and move inbound and outbound materials throughout the facility in an accurate and timely manner., • Accurately pull, deliver, and transfer products to production, test, and repair areas to support continuous workflow., • Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and other warehouse tools; use forklifts if qualified., • Maintain accurate inventory transactions using RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), or internal inventory systems., • Package and prepare units for shipment according to customer specifications and internal quality standards., • Follow ESD, safety, and quality procedures at all times to protect sensitive electronic equipment and maintain compliance., • Perform basic inventory counts and assist with cycle counting to support inventory accuracy., • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in line with 5S and other continuous improvement practices., • Support production teams by ensuring materials, components, and equipment are available when needed., • Assist with general warehouse tasks such as picking, packing, unloading, shipping and receiving, and general production support., • Handle materials carefully to prevent damage and ensure proper storage and labeling., • Troubleshoot basic issues related to material flow or equipment and escalate problems when needed., • Read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, or manuals when required to support repair or maintenance activities., • Perform other duties as assigned based on operational demands in a fast-paced warehouse and repair environment.Essential Skills, • High school diploma or GED., • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs on a regular basis., • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods during the shift., • Basic computer or scanner experience, including use of RF scanners., • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials and completing transactions., • Reliable attendance and punctuality., • Must be at least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the United States., • Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse or repair environment., • Strong attention to safety and adherence to quality procedures., • Ability to troubleshoot basic problems and escalate when needed., • Ability to read basic blueprints, schematics, or manuals., • Ability to climb ladders and work at heights when required.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Previous warehouse, logistics, or material handling experience., • Experience with order picking, material handling, general labor, warehouse packing, and production support., • Forklift or pallet jack experience., • Familiarity with inventory systems or warehouse management systems (WMS)., • Experience working in an electronics, manufacturing, or repair environment., • Understanding of ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) practices or experience in quality-controlled environments., • Experience with shipping and receiving processes., • Basic understanding of electrical systems., • Experience with mechanical repairs., • Knowledge of HVAC fundamentals., • Experience with plumbing and general building maintenance., • Strong focus on maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area in line with 5S principles.Why Work Here? Work Environment This role is based in a clean, organized, and safety-focused warehouse within a climate-controlled repair facility. The operation is fast-paced and production-driven, with clear performance expectations and strong emphasis on quality and ESD compliance when handling electronic equipment. You will use material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and may use forklifts if qualified, along with RF scanners and warehouse management systems to manage inventory and material flow. The facility operates multiple shifts, including daytime, afternoon, and overnight schedules, providing structured hours in a team-oriented environment. Work involves standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and occasionally working at heights, all while following safety procedures and maintaining an orderly work area. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Fort Worth, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $15.50 - $16.50/hr.
