About the Role \n The Head of Warehouse Operations will own day-to-day and strategic leadership across manufacturing, packaging, warehousing, and shipping for our liquid dietary supplement operation. This is a senior-level, high-accountability role that sits at the center of our production and distribution ecosystem — responsible not only for keeping operations running, but for continuously elevating how they run. \n \n You will lead a direct team and serve as a key operational voice to executive leadership. This role demands someone who is equally fluent in floor-level execution and enterprise-level thinking — a leader who can build systems, develop people, and deliver results at scale. \n \n What You’ll Do \n Operational Leadership \n\n • Own end-to-end operations across labeling, packaging, warehousing, and shipping — setting the standard for execution, accountability, and cross-functional alignment.\n, • Ensure production schedules are met consistently while upholding quality, safety, and compliance standards without compromise.\n, • Drive strategic coordination between manufacturing and distribution to eliminate handoff failures and build a seamless material flow from intake to shipment.\n\n \n Production & Manufacturing Oversight \n\n • Lead production planning and maintain real-time visibility into yields, downtime, efficiency metrics, and inventory levels across all lines.\n, • Optimize labor utilization and manage overtime with a strategic lens — balancing cost discipline with the capacity needed to meet demand.\n, • Ensure batch records and production documentation are maintained with full integrity; hold the team to zero-tolerance standards on documentation accuracy.\n\n \n Warehouse & Distribution Oversight \n\n • Ensure robust inventory control and material flow across receiving, storage, and finished goods handling; proactively address gaps before they impact production or fulfillment.\n, • Oversee order fulfillment operations with an ownership mindset — shipments go out accurately and on time, and when they don’t, you lead the fix.\n, • Drive OTIF performance through systemic improvement, not just reactive correction; build the processes that make on-time delivery the default.\n\n \n Compliance & Quality \n\n • Ensure full and consistent adherence to FDA dietary supplement regulations and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) across all operations.\n, • Lead audit preparation and response with confidence — maintaining a facility and documentation standard that is always ready for scrutiny.\n, • Champion a culture of safety and compliance that goes beyond the checklist — one where every team member understands why standards exist and takes personal ownership of them.\n\n \n Team Leadership & Development \n\n • Lead, coach, and develop a team of supervisors into strong, autonomous operational leaders who own their functions and develop their own teams.\n, • Build organizational depth — identify high-potential talent, invest in their development, and create a bench that reduces single points of failure.\n, • Model the culture you want: high performance, mutual accountability, continuous improvement, and genuine care for the people doing the work.\n\n \n Financial & Operational Metrics \n\n • Own KPIs across output, scrap, downtime, OTIF, labor efficiency, and inventory accuracy — with the analytical fluency to interpret trends and drive meaningful action.\n, • Identify and execute cost savings and process improvements that protect margin without compromising quality, compliance, or team health.\n, • Deliver regular operational reporting to leadership that goes beyond metrics — providing context, insight, and a clear point of view on what matters most.\n\n \n What You’ll Bring \n\n • 7–10 years of progressive operations leadership experience, including demonstrated success managing multi-layered teams and complex production environments.\n, • Experience in dietary supplements, food manufacturing, beverage, or liquid production strongly preferred.\n, • Deep working knowledge of GMP, FDA dietary supplement regulations, and quality compliance frameworks.\n, • Proven ability to lead cross-functional operations — from production planning through distribution — with strategic clarity and operational precision.\n, • Track record of developing supervisory and management talent, not just managing them.\n, • Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills; you make sound decisions quickly, communicate them clearly, and bring others along.\n, • Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred; significant equivalent experience considered.\n\n
