Key Responsibilities • Define, design, and maintain the end-to-end architecture for an embedded AI platform, including compute, display, audio, networking, machine interfaces, and cloud connectivity., • Provide technical leadership throughout the software development lifecycle, including architecture, design reviews, implementation, integration, testing, optimization, and production release., • Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable software architectures., • Lead architecture discussions and establish technical standards, design guidelines, and development best practices., • Design embedded Linux-based software solutions with a focus on performance, reliability, maintainability, and scalability., • Ensure compliance with safety, cybersecurity, and system reliability requirements for connected embedded products., • Lead integration of AI assistant capabilities, voice interaction, diagnostics, OTA updates, telemetry, logging, and machine communication., • Define APIs, interface specifications, architecture diagrams, and technical documentation., • Collaborate with software, hardware, HMI, cloud, AI/ML, cybersecurity, and validation teams to deliver complete system solutions., • Drive technical risk assessment, issue resolution, root cause analysis, and performance optimization., • Mentor software engineers and provide technical guidance across cross-functional engineering teams., • Support supplier collaboration, technology evaluations, and architecture reviews. Required Qualification • sBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field, • .8+ years of experience in embedded software development, software architecture, or technical leadership, • .Strong expertise in Embedded Linux system architecture and application development, • .Excellent programming experience in C/C++ and Python, • .Experience designing and developing embedded or edge computing platforms, • .Strong understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and system integration, • .Experience with embedded communication protocols such as CAN, J1939, CDL, or similar industrial communication standards, • .Experience integrating hardware components including compute modules, displays, audio devices, sensors, and peripheral interfaces, • .Hands-on experience with OTA updates, diagnostics, telemetry, logging, and connected device management, • .Experience designing systems with functional safety, cybersecurity, reliability, and compliance considerations, • .Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills, • .Proven ability to lead technical teams and mentor engineers . Preferred Qualificatio • nsExperience with NVIDIA Jetson, NVIDIA Orin, CUDA, GPU-based edge AI platforms, or similar technologie, • s.Experience building AI-enabled embedded applications using LLMs, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), or AI Assistant, • s.Knowledge of voice technologies including ASR (Automatic Speech Recognition) and TTS (Text-to-Speech, • ).Experience developing HMI solutions for automotive, industrial, heavy equipment, or robotics application, • s.Background in Heavy Equipment, Automotive, Industrial IoT, Robotics, Autonomous Systems, or Connected Machiner, • y.Experience with embedded cybersecurity architecture and secure software development practice, • s.Familiarity with cloud connectivity, remote diagnostics, fleet management, and connected product, • s.Experience with aftermarket or retrofit product developmen, • t.Knowledge of technical content grounding using service manuals, diagnostic data, fault codes, or maintenance documentatio n.
