K2 is seeking a Director of Brand Marketing to support our clinics in a full-time capacity. The Director of Brand Marketing shapes and stewards the identity, voice, and reputation of K2 Medical Research — building a brand that earns the trust of patients, providers, and sponsors. This strategic leader will be responsible for brand development, public relations, owned social media, thought leadership, patient advocacy engagement, in-clinic brand experience, and B2B marketing that supports business development and sponsor relationships. The ideal candidate is a talented storyteller who brings creative vision, communications expertise, and strategic thinking to every initiative. They are skilled at crafting an executive thought leadership piece, developing a social media calendar, and building a sponsor-facing capability deck. Primary Responsibilities: • Creative Strategy & Brand Development: Define and evolve the K2 brand platform: identity system, visual standards, messaging architecture, and tone of voice. Lead creative strategy and oversee development of brand assets across all channels — from digital content to in-clinic materials — ensuring consistency and quality. Brief and manage creative production across internal resources and external vendors, maintaining brand integrity at every touchpoint. Partner with the Director of Demand Generation to ensure paid media creative reflects brand standards and resonates with target audiences., • Website & Landing Pages: Own website and landing pages content. Collaborate with the Demand Generation Director to develop landing pages to support specific sites and trials. Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to manage site updates, UX improvements, A/B tests, and new page builds. Monitor site health, analytics (GA4), and user behavior data to continuously identify and act on optimization opportunities., • SEO, GEO & AEO: Lead the network's comprehensive search optimization strategy encompassing technical SEO, on-page content SEO, and link acquisition. Guide Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) practices to maintain visibility in AI-driven search. Oversee technical SEO audits, schema implementation, Core Web Vitals monitoring, and remediation efforts., • Google Business Profiles: Ensure all sites maintain fully optimized, accurate, and actively managed Google Business Profiles. Develop a consistent GBP strategy covering posts, photos, Q&A responses, and service listings, aligned with brand standards., • PR & Reputation Management: Develop and execute a proactive public relations strategy to build awareness of K2’s research capabilities, clinical expertise, and patient-centered mission. Cultivate media relationships and manage earned media opportunities including press releases, media pitches, and interview facilitation. Own reputation monitoring strategy and lead timely, professional responses to online reviews and public commentary., • Reviews: Develop and maintain a structured review generation and response program across Google and other relevant patient-facing platforms. Partner with clinic operations to encourage authentic patient feedback and address concerns constructively. Report on review volume, ratings trends, and sentiment insights., • Thought Leadership, Awards & Speaking Opportunities: Identify and pursue opportunities to position business and clinical leaders as recognized experts in clinical research — including bylined articles, conference speaking, podcast appearances, and expert commentary. Manage award and industry recognition submissions to elevate the network's credibility and visibility in the clinical trial sector. Maintain a forward-looking thought leadership calendar aligned with organizational strategic priorities., • National Patient Advocacy Group Relationships: Build and manage relationships with national patient advocacy organizations in relevant therapeutic areas. Develop co-marketing partnerships, awareness campaigns, and trial referral pathways in collaboration with advocacy groups. Serve as the brand team's primary liaison to the national advocacy community, coordinating with regional advocacy efforts to ensure alignment and avoid duplication., • Owned Social Media: Own organic social media strategy across Meta (Facebook and Instagram), LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms. Lead content planning, production, and publishing, maintaining a consistent cadence and compelling brand voice. Monitor channel performance and community engagement; iterate strategy based on data-driven insights. Ensure social content complies with applicable healthcare regulations and sponsor communications guidelines., • Clinic Brand Experience: Oversee the brand experience inside and around all locations, including signage, environmental design, patient-facing print materials, and branded merchandise. Ensure every clinic delivers a consistent, professional, and welcoming brand experience that reflects brand values. Partner with site operations and leadership during openings, renovations, or rebranding initiatives., • B2B Marketing & Sales Enablement: Lead B2B marketing strategy to support the Business Development team in attracting sponsor partnerships, CRO relationships, and site selection opportunities. Develop and maintain a library of sponsor-facing sales enablement assets: capability decks, site profile one-pagers, case studies, therapeutic area sell sheets, and proposal templates. Produce targeted marketing content and campaigns to engage sponsors, pharma companies, and CRO partners. Align brand storytelling with business development objectives, positioning K2 as a premier, high-performing clinical trial site partner. Qualifications: • 7+ years of brand marketing, integrated communications, or content marketing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role., • Demonstrated expertise in brand strategy, creative direction, and multi-channel content development., • Experience in public relations including media relations, reputation management, and executive communications., • Track record managing organic social media programs with measurable audience engagement results., • Strong B2B marketing experience, including sales enablement content development for commercial teams., • Healthcare, life sciences, or clinical research industry experience preferred., • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; proven ability to craft compelling narratives for diverse audiences — patients, providers, and sponsors., • Collaborative, cross-functional leader with strong project management instincts., • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field; advanced degree a plus.
