Title: Warehouse Manager \n Shift: Estimated Hours between 6:00am-4:00pm M-F w/ some flex needed \n Location: Middletown, NY \n Salary: $60,000-$75,000 \n Benefits: Medical, dental, vision insurance, Company paid life insurance, 401K program with company match, Paid time off, Casual (but professional) work environment \n Position Type: Direct-Hire/Permanent \n \n About: \n Client Company is a leading food manufacturer supplying delicious products to thousands of stores and food establishments nationwide. \n \n Job Overview: \n We are seeking a self-directed, hands-on Warehouse Manager at our Middletown, NY baking facility. This is a key position in the Company and reports directly to the Logistics Director in West Nyack, NY and indirectly to the Plant Manager in Middletown. Manages a team of 6-10 associates responsible for receiving, inventory control, and shipment of frozen product. Ensures continuous improvement in safety, food safety, and associate engagement. Works effectively in a matrixed organization and deals effectively with suppliers and 3rd party logistic providers. \n \n Key Responsibilities: \n\n • Promotes a safe working environment for employees by ensuring safety measures are in place and being adhered to.\n, • Manages warehouse staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.\n, • Develops and implements processes to ensure that all warehouse activities are performed efficiently and accurately.\n, • Monitors inventory levelsand implements strategies to optimize storagespace and minimizestock shortages.\n, • Coordinates and overseesall inbound and outbound shipments and deliveries.\n, • Ensures compliance with all safetyregulations, including properuse of equipment and handlingof hazardous materials.\n, • Develops and maintains relationships with suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders.\n, • Monitors and analyzeswarehouse performance metricsand implements strategies to improve performance.\n, • Identifies and implements process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.\n, • Assists in the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all warehouse activities.\n, • Ensures compliance with all warehousepolicies and procedures; maintains a clean,organized facility.\n, • Performs other relatedduties as assigned.\n, • Escalates issues as appropriate.\n\n \n Your Qualifications: \n\n • Completion of 4-yeardegree – Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering (and/or)\n, • 3+ years of successful, handson, leadership experience within a food manufacturing environment, preferably within the baking or related industry\n, • Bilingual – English/ Spanish – preferred\n, • Proficient utilizing MS Office and WMS / ERP Systems\n, • PIT experience - preferred\n, • Demonstrated ability to supervise and mentor hourly associates and work effectively within a team\n, • Willingness and abilityto resolve problems\n\n \n\n • Positive and professional communication and customerservice skills\n, • Willingness and abilityto work hours as required\n, • Good Organization and Time Management Skills\n, • Candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule; including early morningsand late nightsas required\n, • Partner and establish strong working relationships with other departments that provide supportto the overall operation\n, • Strong leadership and communication skills,with the abilityto motivate and direct a team.\n, • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,with the abilityto analyze data and make informed decisions\n, • Excellent organizational skills,with the abilityto manage multipleprojects and priorities\n, • Knowledge of OSHA Standards and regulations\n\n \n Essential PhysicalRequirements: \n The followingphysical requirements must be performed with or withoutreasonable accommodation.
