Job DescriptionJob Title: Warehouse Worker – Pharmacy ClerkJob Description This role supports a busy pharmacy warehouse operation by preparing boxes, managing prescription drug inventory, and ensuring accurate and timely packing and shipping of pharmacy orders. The Warehouse Worker plays a key part in maintaining proper storage conditions for medications and supplies, operating pharmacy equipment, and supporting efficient order processing within a structured production environment. Responsibilities • Work a first-shift schedule, Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. EST, with flexibility for variable warehouse duties and mandatory overtime as needed., • Perform a variety of pharmacy warehouse tasks, including proper storage of drugs and supplies and appropriate refrigeration of perishable products., • Monitor, adjust, and calibrate pharmacy equipment as directed to support accurate dispensing and packaging processes., • Fill dispensing units and prepare daily boxes to meet production and shipping requirements., • Create, correct, and apply shipping labels to ensure accurate routing and delivery information on all outgoing packages., • Transport prepared packages to Mail and Courier areas and coordinate with shipping channels as needed., • Monitor prescription drug inventory within the pharmacy computer system to maintain accurate stock levels and support timely order fulfillment., • Receive incoming inventory and verify accurate product receipt against documentation and system records., • Assist with resolution of inventory discrepancies, including investigating variances and updating records to maintain data integrity., • Maintain proper storage conditions for prescription drug inventory, including adherence to temperature and handling requirements., • Perform cycle counting activities to support inventory accuracy and assist with order processing tasks as assigned., • Process, pack, and ship outgoing pharmacy orders, ensuring all required drug-related supplies and patient collateral education materials are included in each shipment., • Complete data entry tasks related to inventory, order entry, and shipping information in the pharmacy and warehouse systems., • Follow established cleanroom, safety, and handling procedures when working with medications and medical supplies., • Collaborate with other warehouse workers to meet production goals and support a smooth, efficient workflow.Essential Skills, • Experience working in a packing and/or production environment, preferably within a warehouse or similar setting., • Ability to perform accurate packaging, labeling, and box preparation tasks in a fast-paced production environment., • Basic inventory handling skills, including receiving, storing, and tracking products., • Comfort with data entry in inventory or pharmacy computer systems., • Ability to follow detailed procedures for pharmacy, healthcare, and medical product handling., • Capability to work with order entry, packaging, and cleanroom-related processes as directed., • Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate labels, shipments, and inventory records., • Reliability in following schedules and completing assigned warehouse tasks., • Ability to stand, move, and perform repetitive tasks during an entire shift in a warehouse setting.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently while meeting production goals., • Strong attendance record and commitment to punctuality., • Production-focused mindset with an emphasis on efficiency and quality., • Comfort working in a healthcare or pharmacy-related environment., • No professional license required for this position., • Willingness to participate in an in-person interview that includes moderately technical and behavior-focused questions.Work Environment The role is based in a pharmacy warehouse facility in Charlotte, NC and operates primarily on a first-shift schedule, Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. EST, with variable duties and mandatory overtime, including potential weekend work, as business needs require. The environment is production-oriented and fast-paced, with a team of approximately 20 warehouse workers collaborating to meet daily output and shipping targets. Work is performed in areas that may include standard warehouse spaces and cleanroom-style environments for handling medical and pharmacy products. The position involves regular use of pharmacy equipment, inventory and order entry systems, and packaging and labeling tools. Employees handle prescription drugs, medical supplies, and related patient education materials, and must follow established safety, storage, and refrigeration procedures to protect product integrity. Appropriate work attire is required for a warehouse and healthcare-related setting, which may include comfortable clothing suitable for physical tasks and any facility-provided or required protective gear. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Charlotte, NC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
