Job Description Job Title: Warehouse Associate and Receiving Clerk Job Description This role involves working in a fast-paced production environment, supporting production and activities while handling frequent lifting of materials up to 40-50lbs pounds. You will start on first shift for initial training and cross-training across the job site, then transition to second shift to support ongoing warehouse and production line operations. Responsibilities • Work in a fast-paced warehouse setting to support daily operations and production line activities., • Handle receiving tasks, including unloading, moving, and organizing incoming materials and products., • Lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 20–30 pounds on a regular basis throughout the shift., • Participate in training on first shift for 1–2 months to learn warehouse processes and safety procedures., • Cross-train across multiple areas of the job site to become proficient in various warehouse and production line functions., • After training, transition to second shift and maintain consistent productivity and quality standards., • Follow all established safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area., • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks., • Adapt to changing priorities and high-volume workloads in a hot, loud, and fast-paced environment., • Support weekend and Saturday work requirements as needed to meet production demands. Essential Skills • At least 1 year of warehouse or production experience., • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment., • Capability to lift and move items weighing up to 20–30 pounds repeatedly., • Willingness to train on first shift for 1–2 months and then move to second shift., • Comfort working on or around a production line., • Reliability and consistency in attendance, including Monday–Friday and frequent Saturdays., • Strong attention to safety and adherence to warehouse procedures., • Ability to work in hot, loud conditions while maintaining focus and productivity. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience in both warehouse and production line settings is a plus., • Flexibility to cross-train in multiple roles within the facility., • Ability to adapt to changing shifts and workloads., • Strong teamwork and communication skills in a busy environment. Work Environment You will work in a busy warehouse with approximately 20–30 people per shift in a hot, loud, and fast-paced setting that involves frequent heavy lifting up to 30 pounds. Initial training takes place on first shift from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with many Saturdays required. After training, you will move to second shift from 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., Monday through Friday, with a shift differential for second shift work. The environment centers around warehouse operations and production line activity, requiring physical stamina and comfort working in an industrial setting. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irving, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
