Details\n \n • Medical Oncology unit (10 South) with a heavy telemetry patient population, including oncology and complex medical cases\n, • Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)\n, • Every other weekend required\n, • Every other holiday required\n, • Floating within the hospital or to nearby affiliate facilities based on census/volume\n, • Cerner EMR experience required\n, • 13-week contract\n Requirements\n \n, • Active IN RN license or compact RN license required (pending licensure may be considered)\n, • Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS (pending certifications accepted prior to start)\n, • Minimum 2 years of RN experience required\n, • Strong telemetry experience preferred; candidates without telemetry experience must have strong Med/Surg background and skill set\n, • Proficiency in IV therapy, central line care, PICC line management, blood product administration, and heparin protocols\n, • Experience managing cardiac drips and interpreting/managing dysrhythmias required\n, • Cerner EMR experience required\n, • Must pass a Medication and EKG test prior to or at start of assignment\n, • Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position\n Additional Information\n \n, • Unit manages a dual oncology and high-acuity telemetry patient population requiring drip management and cardiac rhythm monitoring\n, • Preferred skills include telemetry remote monitoring, BiPAP/CPAP management, chest tube management (Emerson/PleurEvac), HFNC, cardiac drip titration, PICC line management, PCA management, and substance withdrawal care\n, • Additional responsibilities include wound care/wound vac, isolation precautions/PPE, and feeding tube care\n, • Candidates must complete up to 8 hours of pre-start orientation modules (self-reported, typically 3–8 hours)\n, • Professional conduct standards are strictly enforced; unprofessional behavior or excessive call-offs may result in immediate contract termination\n, • Scrub colors: Royal Blue top with White or Royal Blue bottoms\n, • First-time travelers are welcome to apply\n, • Former staff must have been gone at least 3 years before returning as a traveler\n, • Maximum of 10 days of RTO allowed; if RTO falls during the holidays, travelers must be willing to work at least 1 of the 3 holidays\n, • Local candidates are not accepted for this position\n \n \n American Traveler Job ID #P-735454.
