Job Description Production Coordinator $23 / hr 1st shift Garland, TX Job Description The Production Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to plant operations by partnering closely with production, supply chain, and shipping teams. This role maintains accurate production records, enters and tracks production data, coordinates supplies, supports shipping activities, and ensures precise documentation within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The position suits a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who can manage multiple priorities while supporting daily plant operations. Responsibilities • Maintain accurate production records and ensure all documentation is complete, organized, and up to date., • Enter, update, and track production data in ERP and related systems to support real-time visibility of plant activities., • Coordinate production schedules and assist with production planning and scheduling activities., • Support inventory management by tracking supply levels, monitoring usage, and coordinating replenishment as needed., • Assist with supply chain and shipping coordination, including order entry, receiving, and supply tracking., • Prepare, review, and maintain production documentation and batch records, including batch tickets and related forms., • Collaborate with production, supply chain, and shipping teams to support smooth daily operations and resolve issues., • Provide administrative and clerical support to plant operations, including filing, record management, and document control., • Use Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, and Outlook to create, update, and share reports and documentation., • Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying process gaps, suggesting improvements, and helping implement changes., • Ensure compliance with established procedures and standards within the industrial manufacturing plant environment., • Handle multiple tasks and shifting priorities while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines., • Perform physical tasks as needed, including lifting items up to 50 lbs. to support production and shipping activities. Essential Skills • Experience in production coordination within a manufacturing environment., • Proficiency with data entry and record management, with strong accuracy and attention to detail., • Knowledge of production planning, production scheduling, and schedule planning., • Familiarity with supply chain and shipping coordination, including order entry, receiving, and supply tracking., • Experience with inventory management processes in an industrial setting., • Ability to work with ERP systems such as QAD, Oracle, or similar platforms., • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook., • Strong organizational abilities and time management skills., • Effective written and verbal communication skills., • Problem-solving capabilities and the ability to handle multiple priorities., • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a manufacturing setting., • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs. as required by operational needs., • Administrative and clerical support experience in a production or industrial environment., • Computer literacy and comfort working with digital systems and documentation. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience working with production documentation and batch records, including batch tickets., • Exposure to SAP or similar enterprise systems for production and inventory tracking., • Experience in supply chain, inventory, or shipping operations within manufacturing., • Demonstrated ability to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives., • Strong multi-tasking skills and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment., • Team collaboration skills with a focus on supporting cross-functional plant operations. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Garland, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
