Job DescriptionJob Title: Production Machine OperatorJob Description The Production Machine Operator executes end-to-end production activities to create liquid products for packaging in a food and beverage manufacturing environment. This role combines sanitation duties with accurate raw material weigh-ups, batching and blending to specification, operation of production equipment, and cellar work to support a high-quality, efficient production process. Responsibilities • Perform accurate raw material weigh-ups according to specified formulas and production schedules., • Execute batching and blending operations to defined specifications, ensuring consistent product quality., • Monitor process parameters such as time, temperature, and flow, and adjust as needed to maintain quality standards., • Operate production equipment including CIP Cart, RO System, Brewhouse and Pilot Brewhouse, hot and cold liquor tanks, batching tables, blending skids, fermenters, and brite tanks., • Carry out cellar work, including tank preparation, product transfers, and staging product for packaging., • Perform Clean-in-Place (CIP) and sanitation of tanks, lines, and equipment to maintain hygienic conditions., • Fill tanks with de-aerated (DA) water and support equipment readiness as required for production., • Heat and maintain the hot liquor tank (HLT) and other process vessels as needed for production runs., • Follow all facility Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Safe Quality Food (SQF), and Food Safety Program guidelines at all times., • Maintain sanitary conditions throughout the production area and follow contamination prevention procedures., • Identify and report any food safety or product quality concerns immediately to the appropriate team members., • Complete batch documentation, production logs, and related records accurately and in a timely manner., • Coordinate closely with Quality and Packaging teams to execute production according to plan and resolve issues., • Operate packaging, bottling, and canning machines as needed to support production and packaging operations., • Use mixers, batchers, and blenders for beverage production, ensuring correct operation and cleaning., • Perform visual inspection and basic quality checks on equipment, in-process product, and finished product., • Utilize Human-Machine Interface (HMI) systems to operate and monitor production equipment where applicable., • Support start-up, changeover, and shutdown procedures for equipment to minimize downtime and ensure safe operation.Essential Skills, • Experience operating production or machine equipment in a food or beverage manufacturing environment., • Hands-on experience with packaging, bottling, or canning machinery., • Proficiency with mixers, batchers, and blenders used in beverage making., • Ability to perform accurate pre-weigh operations for raw materials., • Experience using Human-Machine Interface (HMI) systems to control and monitor equipment., • Knowledge of and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in a food production setting., • Understanding of basic food safety principles and contamination prevention procedures., • Ability to complete production documentation and batch records accurately., • Capability to perform routine equipment inspection and basic troubleshooting., • Comfort working in a non-climate-controlled production environment and following required hygiene protocols.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Prior experience in a beverage production facility is highly beneficial., • Familiarity with CIP (Clean-in-Place) processes and sanitation of tanks and production lines., • Exposure to RO (Reverse Osmosis) systems and hot/cold liquor tanks in a brewing or beverage context., • Experience coordinating with Quality and Packaging teams in a manufacturing setting., • Interest in growing into more advanced operator or technician roles as responsibilities expand., • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high quality and safety standards.Why Work Here? Work Environment This role is based in a non-climate-controlled food production facility, where temperatures can vary with the seasons and production activity. You will work around beverage processing equipment such as brewhouse systems, hot and cold liquor tanks, fermenters, brite tanks, blending skids, and packaging lines for bottling and canning. The environment follows strict food safety and GMP standards, including the required use of hair nets and beard nets and adherence to hygiene protocols. Work involves standing for extended periods, moving between different pieces of equipment, and working near wet surfaces and cleaning chemicals during CIP and sanitation activities. Collaboration with production, quality, and packaging teams is routine, creating a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing setting focused on safe, efficient, and high-quality beverage production. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Mckinney, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $52000.00/yr.
