We are partnering with a leading financial services organization to identify a Sr. Manager, FP&A to join its Finance team. This is an outstanding opportunity for a highly analytical finance professional with strong financial modeling and forecasting experience who enjoys solving complex business challenges and partnering across multiple functions. In this role, you'll play a key part in developing and enhancing enterprise financial planning models, supporting investment income forecasting, and delivering meaningful insights that help drive strategic decision-making. You'll collaborate closely with teams across Investments, Treasury, Actuarial, Accounting, Risk, and Finance to improve forecasting capabilities and strengthen the organization's financial planning processes. • Develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise financial planning and forecasting models., • Build financial models that incorporate investment, liability, treasury, accounting, and other key financial data., • Support investment income forecasting, asset-liability analysis, and financial scenario modeling., • Analyze forecast results and explain key drivers behind changes in financial performance., • Perform variance analysis by comparing actual results to forecasts and identifying key trends., • Evaluate model assumptions, sensitivities, and financial projections to support business planning., • Partner with cross-functional teams to gather data, validate assumptions, and improve forecasting accuracy., • Translate complex financial analysis into clear, actionable insights for business leaders., • Strengthen model governance, documentation, and internal controls., • Identify opportunities to improve reporting, automation, and financial planning processes., • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual planning cycles, along with special projects and strategic initiatives., • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Engineering, Statistics, or another quantitative field., • 68+ years of experience in FP&A, financial modeling, actuarial analysis, investment analytics, consulting, insurance finance, or a related analytical role., • Strong financial modeling and forecasting experience., • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to build and maintain complex financial models., • Strong understanding of financial planning, investment performance, and forecasting methodologies., • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities., • Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information to both technical and non-technical audiences., • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment., • Experience within insurance, annuities, asset management, banking, or financial services., • Exposure to investment income forecasting, asset-liability management, or enterprise financial planning., • Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, ASA, FSA, or MBA are a plus., • Experience with financial planning systems, databases, or business intelligence tools., • Experience supporting automation, process improvement, and data-driven decision-making., • Join a collaborative finance team supporting strategic planning across a sophisticated financial organization., • Work on high-impact forecasting, modeling, and financial analytics projects., • Partner with senior leaders across Finance, Investments, Treasury, Actuarial, and Risk., • Opportunity to influence enterprise planning processes while continuing to grow your technical and leadership skills.
