SAE Towers has transmission structures for the most severe terrains and environments, state-of-the-art advanced design work, dependable tower testing, precision hardware and complete solutions covering the total process from engineering through supply. \n \n Today’s SAE Towers was spun off from ABB, Ltd.’s steel lattice tower manufacturing divisions and in 2010, SAE Towers became part of KEC International Limited, a highly respected public EPC and manufacturing company listed on major Indian stock exchanges with annual revenues of approximately $2B (US). \n \n The Role \n The Finance and Operations Manager will play a critical leadership role in shaping SAE Towers’ United States financial infrastructure during a period of rapid growth. As the company targets doubling United States revenue to $100M by 2026, this individual will lead the transition of key accounting, payroll, and tax functions from international locations to a Houston-based operation, establishing a strong and reliable domestic foundation. \n \n This role serves as the primary US-based liaison for external advisors, vendors, and service providers, ensuring seamless coordination across all local financial and administrative activities. Core functions such as treasury, controllership, AP/AR, payroll execution, and accounting oversight will remain with established teams. However, this position is accountable for driving execution and ensuring deadlines are met, compliance requirements are satisfied, and US-based operations run efficiently. \n \n Lines of Reporting \n The Finance and Operations Manager will report to the Director of Contracts and Projects at SAE Towers (US-based) with a dotted line to Finance Manager (Mexico-based). \n \n Key Accountabilities \n\n • Acting as the operational anchor for SAE Towers’ United States presence while partnering closely with the Mexico-based finance organization to align processes and deliver results.\n, • Act as the primary US interface for tax advisors, accounting firms, payroll providers, banks, insurance brokers, landlords, telecom/mobile providers, and office vendors.\n, • Coordinate requests, documentation, calendars, open items, and follow-ups between US providers, the Finance Manager, Mexico-based finance teams, and US leadership.\n, • Track recurring US tax, payroll, accounting-support, compliance, lease, insurance, and administrative deadlines; escalating delays, risks, or missing information promptly.\n, • Review provider invoices and supporting documentation for completeness before routing through the appropriate internal approval and payment process.\n, • Maintain organized records of contracts, notices, filings, provider communications, invoices, renewal dates, and pending matters.\n, • Manage day-to-day Houston office administration, including rent, utilities, mobile phones, internet, office supplies, equipment, building access, mail/courier coordination, and general vendor support.\n, • Support audits, tax filings, payroll reviews, renewals, and finance projects by gathering information, coordinating responses, and keeping stakeholders informed.\n\n \n Candidate Profile \n The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications for the position: \n\n • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required\n, • 5+ years of experience in accounting support, finance operations, office administration, payroll/tax coordination, vendor management, or a related role\n, • Strong understanding of accounting, payroll, tax, and finance workflows, with good judgment on when to coordinate versus escalate\n, • Experience working with external tax, accounting, payroll, banking, insurance, legal, lease, or administrative providers\n, • Fluency in English & Spanish is mandatory; Fluency in Portuguese is a significant advantage but not required\n, • Hands-on, solutions-oriented mindset\n, • The ability to lead, manage, and hold team members accountable for performance, including identifying and developing training programs\n, • Highly resilient with unquestionable business and personal integrity.
