The role requires a balance of technical expertise, leadership, and strategic thinking to create reliable systems, reduce operational overhead, and support business growth. /p ul liLead and mentor a high-performing remote infrastructure engineering team, fostering autonomy, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. /li liDefine and execute strategies for CI/CD platforms, artifact distribution systems, and infrastructure capabilities to support increased engineering scale. /li liDrive automation initiatives focused on reducing manual processes, improving reliability, and creating a zero-toil engineering environment. /li liGuide the adoption of AI-driven engineering practices to improve areas such as dependency management, incident resolution, cloud optimization, and developer support. /li liOwn the evolution of internal infrastructure platforms as products, ensuring they provide a seamless and effective experience for engineering teams. /li liTranslate technical needs into actionable roadmaps while collaborating with stakeholders across engineering and product teams. /li liReview and contribute to technical architecture decisions, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with long-term goals. /li liSupport improvements to cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes environments, infrastructure-as-code practices, and CI/CD workflows. /li liPromote engineering excellence through strong processes, technical reviews, and effective remote collaboration practices. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 pThe ideal candidate is an experienced engineering leader with strong infrastructure knowledge, a track record of developing engineering talent, and the ability to operate effectively in remote, asynchronous environments.
