If you’re excited about having a real impact and shaping how millions of people experience work, we’d love you on the team. /p pVisit to learn more. /p h3About the Role /h3 pThe Senior Business Travel Consultant – Executive Care is part of a newly established, market‑specific Executive Care team, dedicated to delivering a premium, high‑touch service experience to a select portfolio of high‑value and VIP customers across the UK Ireland. /p pThis role is designed for an experienced travel professional with deep expertise in Amadeus or other GDS platforms, who thrives in complex, fast‑paced environments and takes full ownership of end‑to‑end customer journeys. You will act as a trusted travel advisor and single point of contact, handling sophisticated itineraries, time‑sensitive changes, and escalations with confidence, discretion, and commercial awareness. /p pThe ideal candidate is customer‑obsessed, proactive, and commercially astute, combining strong technical travel knowledge with critical thinking and exceptional service delivery. /p h3What You’ll Do /h3 h3Executive Customer Support Ticket Ownership /h3 ul liDeliver exceptional, end‑to‑end travel support for Executive Care customers within the market. /li liOwn each case from initiation to resolution under a “one ticket, one consultant” model. /li liManage complex domestic and international itineraries including air, rail, hotel, car hire, and ancillary services. /li liPrioritise VIP and high‑touch customers using dedicated routing views, priority queues, and tagging. /li liApply sound judgement when making decisions within defined risk and commercial guidelines. /li /ul h3Travel Booking Expertise GDS Proficiency /h3 ul liCreate, modify, reissue, and cancel bookings using Amadeus (or other GDS platforms). /li liHandle complex fare constructions, ticketing rules, exchanges, refunds, and revalidations. /li liConfidently manage schedule changes, IRROPs, missed connections, and urgent re‑accommodation. /li liEnsure accuracy, compliance, and cost efficiency across all bookings. /li liAct as a subject matter expert (SME) for travel systems and booking best practices within the Executive Care team. /li /ul h3Service Quality Customer Satisfaction /h3 ul liConsistently achieve exceptional customer satisfaction by delivering clear, empathetic, and solution‑focused service. /li liApply the market‑specific Quality Scorecard to ensure behaviours align with Executive Care expectations. /li liAdapt communication style to customer urgency, tone, and seniority. /li liUse customer sentiment, feedback, and context to inform decision‑making and escalation when required. /li /ul h3Cross‑Functional Collaboration /h3 ul liPartner closely with Account Managers, Sales, Implementation, and Operations to deliver seamless customer outcomes. /li liParticipate in structured communication loops to ensure alignment on customer needs and regional priorities. /li liSupport the Team Leader by sharing actionable customer insights and emerging trends. /li liAct as a strong ambassador for Executive Care across the wider organisation. /li /ul h3Escalation Issue Management /h3 ul liOwn escalations with urgency, professionalism, and clarity. /li liManage complex or sensitive cases through established Executive Care escalation workflows. /li liEnsure timely stakeholder communication and clear documentation via Zendesk and internal systems. /li liBalance customer advocacy with policy, commercial, and risk considerations. /li /ul h3Process Adherence Continuous Improvement /h3 ul liFollow SOPs while applying critical thinking to non‑standard or novel travel scenarios. /li liIdentify opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce friction, and improve customer journeys. /li liProvide structured feedback to the Team Leader and Operational Excellence / BPI teams. /li liSupport pilot initiatives, hypercare activity, and new process rollouts. /li /ul h3Data Awareness Performance Management /h3 ul liUse dashboards and performance data to understand personal results and identify improvement opportunities. /li liActively engage in coaching, quality reviews, and peer feedback. /li liMaintain strong adherence to SLAs, workflows, and Executive Care service standards. /li /ul h3What We’re Looking For /h3 ul liNative level German language /li liProven experience as a Senior Business Travel Consultant or equivalent role. /li liStrong hands‑on expertise in Amadeus or another major GDS (Sabre, Galileo, Worldspan). /li liExperience supporting VIP, executive, or high‑touch corporate customers. /li liExcellent knowledge of airfares, ticketing rules, exchanges, refunds, and IRROPs. /li liStrong problem‑solving, decision‑making, and critical‑thinking skills. /li liExceptional written and verbal communication skills. /li liHigh attention to detail and strong organisational skills. /li liContact centre or executive support team experience. /li liFamiliarity with Zendesk or similar case management tools are desirable. /li liExperience
