Job DescriptionJob Title: Warehouse AssociateJob Description The Warehouse Associate ensures customer orders are processed accurately, safely, and on time while supporting daily warehouse operations. This role focuses on inventory management, material inspection, documentation, packaging, and shipping activities, with a strong commitment to quality, safety, and on-time delivery. Responsibilities • Manage daily workflow to ensure the timely completion and delivery of customer orders., • Read, interpret, and follow work orders and written work instructions with a high degree of accuracy., • Accurately document inventory movements using company computer systems and hard-copy documentation., • Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials as needed to support warehouse operations., • Handle materials safely and efficiently using appropriate equipment and tools., • Support shipping and receiving activities, including verifying and recording incoming and outgoing shipments., • Contribute to maintaining an organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment.Essential Skills, • Prior warehouse, shipping/receiving, inventory, or material handling experience in a warehouse setting., • At least 2+ years of true warehouse experience., • Prior experience operating a forklift., • Ability to read a tape measure accurately up to 1/16"., • Basic computer knowledge and literacy for documenting inventory and processing orders., • Ability to use and read micrometers and calipers., • Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively., • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Strong attention to detail when reading work orders and documenting inventory., • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions consistently., • Comfort working with warehouse equipment and tools in a fast-paced environment., • Reliability and punctuality to support on-time order processing and delivery.Why Work Here? The work is physically active and requires the ability to lift up to 70 pounds and stand or move for extended periods. The environment is fast-paced and safety-oriented, with an emphasis on proper use of tools and equipment and maintaining an organized workspace. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Surprise, AZ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
