Credence has an immediate opening for a Program Manager- PEG/DAG Public Affairs at the Journeyman level supporting AFLCMC/WAX at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. The Plans and Programs Division supports the modernization and sustainment of Fighter and Advanced Aircraft (F&AA) capabilities for the U.S. Air Force and coalition partners. The division manages capability planning, technology integration, program oversight, and cross-functional processesincluding airworthiness, configuration management, system safety, and cybersecurityfrom concept through fielding. It also develops future capability roadmaps in collaboration with Air Force Major Commands (MAJCOMs) and other key stakeholders. The Program Manager- PEG/DAG Public Affairs shall apply knowledge and experience in acquisition program management policies and procedures to USAF systems, subsystems, and equipment procurement activities, post award project/program management tasks, and acquisition programs throughout their life cycles. Responsibilities include: • Applying a full range of acquisition program management policies/procedures to perform a wide range of acquisition management activities in support of the existing and future F/B Directorate aircraft programs and platforms., • Understanding of current DoD and USAF acquisition regulations, guidelines and processes., • Supporting the review of proposals as assigned by the customer., • Providing assistance in risk management, project management, process improvement support, and logistics support., • Assisting in the collection of programmatic inputs from acquisition programs throughout their life cycles., • Assisting in performing a non-voting, advisory role for program source selections on all acquisition related requirements., • Knowledge of development and test activities required to support warfighter Urgent Operational Needs (UON) and Joint Urgent Operational Needs (JUON)., • Assisting in producing or reviewing products for program offices use., • Supporting the program office during Materiel Solution Analysis (MSA), Technology Maturation and Risk Reduction (TMRR), Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD), Production and Deployment, and Operations and Support (O&S) phases., • Assisting in performing analyses to support program strategy decisions and courses of action., • Supporting the development, review, and approval process for requirements document development and the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) process and staffing., • Assisting with the Automated Business Services System (ABSS), the System Management Analysis Reporting Tool (SMART), and Integrated Budget Documentation and Execution System (IDECS)., • Assisting in providing technical support through planning, coordinating, and participating in integrated program reviews and conferences., • Providing support to process and complete Modification Proposal AF Form 1067 activities., • Supporting various program actions to include implementation of policies, processes, and tools for Capability Planning and Development., • Assisting in communicating with multiple platforms, programs, and phases as well as across multiple enterprises while assisting in integration of intelligence information and infrastructure to ensure cross-enterprise capabilities planning and system acquisition., • Advising in establishing a capability architect function to ensure integrated architectures are developed and used as a standard vehicle for cross-enterprise comparison, analysis and integration., • Assisting in promoting the use of Modeling Simulation and Analysis (MS&A) throughout the acquisition life cycle process and foster the development and maintenance of common use MS&A tools useful to the divisions/groups/industry., • Assisting in planning, organizing, and managing critical aspects of the development, production, and/or deployment of capabilities (including System of Systems and Families of Systems), systems, subsystems, and equipment., • Support to the Directorate/Division Self-Inspection Program (SIP)., • Providing assistance with preparing, maintaining, updating, and reviewing the full range of test and test-related documentation., • Assisting in recommending, assessing, and analyzing requirements and objectives, test and evaluation concepts, strategies, and plans., • Assisting in independently applying/demonstrating proficiency in various project/program initiatives., • Assisting in building and maintaining business relationships between the program office, supporting Government offices, other contractors, USAF AFMC, AFLCMC, AFRL, Air Combat Command (ACC), AFGSC, and higher headquarters' mid-to upper-level staff, to support the F/B Capability Plans and Programs for the various platforms., • Participating in and representing the interests of the F/B portfolio of programs in the Service Core Function process., • Possessing USAF MAJCOM expertise, ideally at the HQ USAF, HQ ACC, or HQ AFGSC level, as a background for understanding broad user war fighter requirements., • Assisting in preparing and reviewing pertinent data, coordinating with applicable managers, and finalizing related documentation/information for verbal and visual presentation of the plan status at meetings as required., • Supporting analytic identification of needs and development of requirements for potential materiel solutions., • Assisting in identifying and solving problems and aid in the influence of science and technology investment decisions., • Assisting in applying expertise of the acquisition process and all areas relating to acquisition policy matters, including acquisition streamlining, integrated weapon systems management, manning, best practices and lessons learned, to assigned projects., • Supporting and conducting studies and analysis of tradeoffs for incorporation of potential capabilities in future platform capabilities., • Acting as the F/B Directorate Unit Control Center Chief for emergency response, exercises, and other surge activities., • Assisting in developing and maintaining the F/B Directorate Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP) and shall assist in leading the F/B Directorate participation in the AFLCMC COOP and execution., • Assisting in managing the F/B Directorate SIP., • Supporting the PEG and DAG processes for the entire F/B Directorate at all locations., • Collecting and/or measuring various Fighters & Advanced Aircraft, Bombers, and F-35 requirements defined by the Government., • Managing review/approval of social media posts., • Drafting media responses for PA review/approval., • Assisting in the development of scripts and preparation material for PEO., • Engaging in forums to deliberate and strategize social media public affairs guidance, instructions and memorandums., • Engaging and participating in conferences, symposiums, meetings for, but not limited to Life Cycle Industry Days(LCID), Air & Space Forces Association (AFA), • Engaging in required meetings SecAF Acquisition Executive Branch, emphasis on Agile Combat employment (ACE), • Creating SharePoint sites (LCID, etc.) to house directorate industry partner engagement materials, • Updating and maintaining of the directorate's media relations and PA SharePoint site to include decision memorandums, public affairs guidance (PAG), media queries and congressional inquiries, • PEO FAA video presentations, • Working with AFLCMC/PA to arrange advanced media training and prepare for media roundtables, empowering the PEO with strong communication skills to articulate the directorate's strategic direction
