As a Restock / Fluid Technician, you'll play a critical role in supporting a cutting-edge engine testing operation. You will be responsible for maintaining inventory, managing fluids and supplies, supporting technicians, and ensuring 13 test cells and the tool room remain safe, clean, organized, and ready for operation. This is a highly visible role where your attention to detail and work ethic directly impact daily productivity and success. What You'll DoInventory & Material Management • Restock essential supplies throughout the facility, including:, • PPE and safety equipment, • Gloves, masks, and filters, • Hardware and small parts, • Shop towels, rags, and paper products, • Tools and consumables, • Monitor inventory levels and proactively replenish stock to support uninterrupted operations., • Organize and maintain materials in the tool room and across all assigned work areas., • Order supplies using SAP, tablets, and computer systems to ensure operational readiness.Fluid & Equipment Support, • Change and replace oil drums safely and efficiently., • Drain, transfer, and manage oils and fluids using pumps and approved procedures., • Refill nitrogen tanks following proper training and safety guidelines., • Monitor chemicals and solvents, verify expiration dates, and remove or report expired materials.Facility Organization & 5S Excellence, • Support and maintain 13 engine test cells and the tool room., • Apply 5S and continuous improvement principles to promote a clean, organized, and efficient workplace., • Perform routine cleaning and housekeeping to maintain professional, inspection-ready work areas., • Organize and catalog parts, tools, and materials returned by technicians for easy access and accountability.Operational & Administrative Support, • Complete required documentation accurately and on time., • Use phones and computer systems to submit work orders and communicate service needs., • Collaborate with technicians and site personnel to respond quickly to operational requirements., • Work independently while managing daily priorities across multiple areas of responsibility.Required Qualifications, • High School Diploma or GED., • Minimum 6 months of experience in an industrial, manufacturing, warehouse, construction, or similar hands-on environment., • Ability to lift and move 50+ pounds safely., • Ability to remain active and on your feet for most of the workday., • Basic computer skills and comfort using tablets, computers, and digital inventory systems., • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail., • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision., • Comfortable working around oils, chemicals, and industrial equipment., • Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools.Preferred Qualifications, • Inventory, stocking, material handling, or warehouse experience., • Experience supporting maintenance, manufacturing, automotive, or industrial operations., • Familiarity with SAP or similar inventory management software., • Knowledge of 5S, Lean Manufacturing, or workplace organization practices., • Experience handling documentation, inventory tracking, or equipment support activities.What We Offer, • Stable, long-term career opportunity, • Employee-owned organization with a strong culture, • Opportunities for advancement and internal mobility, • Potential pathways to permanent positions and customer-site opportunities, • Comprehensive benefits package, including:, • Medical, dental, and vision coverage, • 401(k) with company match, • Life insurance, • Paid time off, • Employee Assistance Program, • Employee referral program You'll work alongside professionals who value teamwork, accountability, safety, and operational excellence. Work Environment This is a highly active, physically demanding position based within a large engine testing and industrial shop environment. Approximately 90% of the shift is spent walking, standing, and moving between 13 test cells and the tool room. Schedule: Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM-2:30 PM Work areas include both climate-controlled and non-climate-controlled spaces.
