This role collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to improve product standardization, optimize clinical outcomes, reduce unnecessary variation, and support cost-effective supply utilization initiatives. \n The Nurse Manager serves as a liaison between clinical staff, leadership, and supply chain teams, providing expertise in value analysis, contract review, product assessment, and implementation planning. This position requires a strong clinical nursing background, particularly within perioperative and critical care environments, as well as experience with supply chain operations and healthcare procurement processes. Key ResponsibilitiesValue Analysis & Product Evaluation\n \n • Lead the clinical review, evaluation, and selection of medical products, supplies, and equipment.\n, • Facilitate value analysis initiatives to improve quality, standardization, and cost efficiency.\n, • Conduct product comparisons, utilization reviews, and cost-benefit analyses.\n, • Analyze clinical and operational data to support product recommendations and purchasing decisions.\n, • Assist in reviewing vendor proposals, contracts, and product agreements.\n Clinical Collaboration\n \n, • Partner with nursing leadership, physicians, perioperative teams, and other stakeholders to evaluate clinical product needs.\n, • Lead multidisciplinary committees and workgroups focused on supply utilization and value analysis.\n, • Gather feedback from clinicians regarding product performance, quality, and patient care impact.\n, • Serve as a clinical resource for supply chain, nursing, and executive leadership teams.\n Implementation & Process Improvement\n \n, • Coordinate product trials, evaluations, conversions, and implementation plans.\n, • Develop and support initiatives to reduce product variation across departments.\n, • Assist with change management efforts related to product standardization and adoption.\n, • Monitor outcomes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.\n Education & Communication\n \n, • Provide education and guidance to clinical staff regarding new products, equipment, and supplies.\n, • Communicate project updates, recommendations, and implementation plans to stakeholders.\n, • Maintain effective relationships with internal departments and external vendors.\n, • Support organizational goals related to quality improvement, operational efficiency, and cost management.\n Required Qualifications\n \n, • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program.\n, • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.\n, • Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience in an acute care setting.\n, • Minimum of 3 years of leadership, management, or project leadership experience.\n, • Experience with medical supplies, healthcare procurement, supply chain operations, or value analysis processes.\n, • Strong knowledge of perioperative services, operating room workflows, and surgical supplies.\n, • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.\n, • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills.\n Preferred Qualifications\n \n, • Master's degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.\n, • Experience supporting value analysis initiatives within hospital systems.\n, • Knowledge of healthcare group purchasing organization (GPO) programs and processes.\n, • Pediatric healthcare experience.\n, • Professional certifications such as:\n \n, • Certified Value Analysis Healthcare Professional (CVAHP)\n, • Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR)\n, • Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN)\n \n, • Experience with contract review, product implementation, and supply utilization management.\n Ideal Candidate\n The ideal candidate is an experienced registered nurse with a strong perioperative or critical care background who understands clinical operations, product utilization, and healthcare supply management.
