Job DescriptionAssociate AttorneyLaw Practice$100,000 per year Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pmToledo, Ohio (onsite)Permanent Opportunity Why You’ll Love This Job: • After being hired on, the following benefits are offered:, • 401(k) retirement plan, • Comprehensive healthcare, dental, vision insurance, • Paid Time Off, • Eligibility for performance – based bonusesWhat You’ll Do:, • Manage a diverse caseload of litigation matters from initial intake through final resolution, ensuring deadlines, filings, and case objectives are effectively maintained, • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, responses, and other litigation-related materials, • Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, conferences, and other appearances as needed, • Conduct thorough legal research and prepare well-organized memoranda, case evaluations, and strategic recommendations, • Communicate regularly and professionally with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and other parties involved in legal proceedings, • Collaborate with partners and fellow attorneys to develop case strategy, assess risks, and determine effective legal approaches, • Manage case files, track litigation milestones, and ensure compliance with court requirements and procedural deadlines, • Meet established performance expectations, including a minimum annual billing requirement of 1,800 hours while maintaining high-quality legal work and client service standards What We’re Looking For:, • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school, • Active license and good standing to practice law in the State of Ohio, • 4+ years of legal experience, with a strong background in civil litigation, • Proven litigation experience, including managing cases, preparing legal documents, and appearing in court proceedings, • Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills, • Ability to independently manage multiple cases, deadlines, and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, attorneys, courts, and opposing counsel, • Detail-oriented professional with strong organization skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality legal work Apply Today!Upload your resume – no cover letter required.
