Job DescriptionJob Title: Customer Service Representative Job Description The Customer Service Representative will provide exceptional customer support to both internal and external clients by leveraging an in-depth understanding of the organization's products and services. This role requires strong collaboration with the Customer Service Manager and the Production team to ensure efficient communication and smooth operations. Responsibilities • Communicate with customers regularly for updates on in-progress jobs via phone or email., • Resolve customer inquiries related to jobs and quotes promptly., • Manage customer quote approvals, re-quoting as necessary, ensuring client satisfaction., • Coordinate with production, shipping, warehouse, and common carriers to expedite or trace missing or delayed shipments., • Ensure quotes are processed efficiently and within defined timeframes.Essential Skills, • Collaborate effectively with other departments and individuals within the organization., • Demonstrate strong computer skills, including proficiency in ERP systems (Quantum/Component Control) and Microsoft Office., • Ability to read, write, and follow verbal instructions in English, with basic math skills., • Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers, ensuring repeat business., • Exhibit excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills., • Possess knowledge of the aviation industry and airline Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) processes.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Knowledge of general office clerical procedures., • Ability to regularly exercise sound judgment in decision-making., • High school diploma required; a college degree in a business-related field is preferred.Why Work Here? Occasional squatting, lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 20 pounds may be necessary. The position involves repetitive hand movement, eye-hand coordination, and manual dexterity. Corrected vision and hearing to normal range are necessary. The work location is in Carrollton (Dallas), Texas, with no protective equipment required but potential exposure to materials as indicated on Material Safety Data Sheets. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carrollton, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
