Job DescriptionJob Title: Assembler - HB2 Job Description This role focuses on performing repetitive assembly operations to mass-produce premium commercial aircraft interior components, including high-end cabin furniture. You work from detailed blueprints and engineering drawings to assemble parts accurately and efficiently, meeting strict production schedules and customer requirements. Responsibilities • Perform repetitive assembly operations to produce commercial aircraft interior components, including galleys, closets, lavatories, floor panels, class dividers, and sidewalls., • Work within the time constraints of the master production schedule and meet customer requirements for quality and delivery., • Read and interpret detailed blueprints and engineering drawings to understand assembly instructions and specifications., • Follow installation procedures exactly as defined by blueprints, engineering drawings, and manufacturing requirements., • Mix and apply adhesives according to manufacturer specifications to ensure proper bonding of components., • Apply silicone sealant in accordance with specified requirements to achieve proper sealing and finish., • Place parts in the correct specified relationship to each other to ensure accurate fit and function., • Verify unit dimensions before installing inserts, rivets, blind nuts, blocks, angles, doublers, and fittings., • Bond, screw, rivet, or otherwise attach parts together using appropriate tools and methods., • Drill, countersink, and rivet metal or sheet metal parts as required by the assembly process., • Install attachment fittings and other hardware as assigned to complete assemblies., • Prepare and organize tools, parts, and materials for use in the manufacturing area to support efficient workflow., • Requisition parts from the stockroom as needed to maintain uninterrupted production., • Ensure work orders and traceability books are maintained, updated, and completed throughout the manufacturing cycle., • Maintain safe and effective use of all machine and hand tools, following safety guidelines and best practices., • Report any defects, nonconformities, or issues to quality assurance and manufacturing engineering personnel., • Promote cooperation and positive communication with co-workers to support a collaborative team environment., • Remove scrap from work areas and ensure proper disposal to maintain cleanliness and organization., • Clean work area, machines, tools, and equipment regularly to uphold a clean and orderly manufacturing environment.Essential Skills, • At least 1 year of assembly experience in a manufacturing or production environment., • Ability to read and interpret detailed blueprints and engineering drawings., • Experience following installation procedures based on blueprint and engineering requirements., • Skill in mixing and applying adhesives to manufacturer specifications., • Ability to apply silicone sealant accurately and consistently according to requirements., • Competence in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively., • Mechanical aptitude and understanding of basic mechanical assembly principles., • Ability to drill, countersink, and rivet metal or sheet metal parts., • Attention to detail in verifying dimensions and part relationships before installation., • Capability to maintain accurate work orders and traceability documentation., • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to safety protocols., • Clear communication skills to report defects and collaborate with quality assurance and engineering teams.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Experience working in a production or manufacturing environment with commercial aircraft interiors or similar products., • Familiarity with assembly of components such as galleys, closets, lavatories, floor panels, class dividers, and sidewalls., • Comfort using a variety of hand tools and power tools in a high-volume manufacturing setting., • Ability to organize tools, parts, and materials to support efficient workflow., • Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude that supports cooperation and clear communication with co-workers., • Reliability in following established procedures and meeting production schedules., • Willingness to work overtime when needed to support production demands.Why Work Here? Work Environment You work on a first shift schedule from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with the ability to work 1–2 hours of overtime per day and approximately 5 hours on Saturdays as needed to meet production demands. The role is based in a very large, clean manufacturing environment focused on producing interior products for commercial aircraft. You use a range of hand tools and power tools in an organized production area, following clearly defined processes and safety standards. The facility is designed for high-volume, precision manufacturing, offering a structured, professional, and safety-conscious workplace. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Huntington Beach, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
