Senior Accountant \n Redhill, Surrey | Full-Time, Permanent \n Join a Growing and Forward-Thinking Accountancy Practice \n We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our clients growing team in Redhill. This is an excellent opportunity for a practice-trained accountant who enjoys managing client relationships, mentoring junior team members, and delivering high-quality accounting services within a supportive and collaborative environment. \n Reporting directly to the Managing Partner, you will take ownership of a diverse portfolio of clients while playing a key role in supporting the development of junior staff and contributing to the continued growth of the firm. \n The Role \n As a Senior Accountant, you will: \n\n • Manage a portfolio of approximately 100 clients across a variety of sectors\n, • Prepare statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders\n, • Produce management accounts, VAT returns and corporation tax returns\n, • Act as the primary day-to-day contact for clients, delivering exceptional service\n, • Handle and resolve client queries promptly and professionally\n, • Support, coach and mentor junior members of the team, providing technical guidance\n, • Assist in overseeing junior team portfolios and reviewing work where required\n, • Ensure portfolio billing targets are achieved\n, • Maintain accurate client records and timesheets within CCH\n, • Deliver client work within agreed deadlines and service standards\n, • Identify and support new business opportunities\n, • Keep up to date with accounting regulations, software developments and industry changes\n, • Collaborate with colleagues across the practice to support overall business objectives\n\n About You \n\n • ACA, ACCA, CGMA or CIMA qualification (fully or part-qualified)\n, • 2–5 years' experience within an accountancy practice\n, • Experience managing client relationships and handling a varied workload\n, • Strong technical accounting knowledge including accounts preparation, VAT and corporation tax\n, • Previous experience coaching, mentoring or supporting junior staff\n, • Excellent organisational and time management skills\n, • Strong attention to detail\n, • Excellent written and verbal communication skills\n, • A collaborative and proactive approach\n\n Apply Now \n This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious accountant looking to take the next step in their career within a growing and reputable practice.
