We pride ourselves on being creative, innovative solution providers to our customers and partners. /p h3Job Description /h3 pEnfinity Global is looking for an Operations Manager for our new Composite Materials Recycling Plant located in Northern Portugal. This role is pivotal in leading the plant's start‑up phase and ensuring a smooth and successful commissioning and production process. As the key driver of day‑to‑day operations, this person will be responsible for establishing the foundations of operational excellence, safety, and efficiency in a pioneering facility that plays an essential role in Enfinity Global's long‑term sustainability strategy. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liOversee day‑to‑day production to ensure consistent and efficient operations /li liMonitor and improve operational KPIs /li liDrive continuous process optimization and best‑practice implementation /li liManage feedstock supply and inbound material flows /li liCoordinate internal logistics and ensure efficient movement across the plant /li liSupervise overall internal flow performance and alignment with production needs /li liEnsure accurate stock control and traceability /li liImplement and improve logistics and warehousing methodologies /li liLead cyclical inventory routines and reporting /li liCoordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities /li liPrioritize critical interventions to ensure equipment availability and reliability /li liMaintain full documentation traceability aligned with Enfinity standards /li liEnsure strict compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards /li liPromote a strong safety culture, including 5S and LOTO procedures /li liSupport implementation and continuous improvement of quality systems /li liLead, motivate, and develop operational teams /li liManage shift structures and workforce planning /li liPromote a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement. Partner with IT, Simplification, and Finance departments as needed to ensure solutions are well integrated with the company's other needs and initiatives /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liDegree in Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, or Materials Engineering /li li10+ years in industrial operations roles, preferably in the automotive or related sector /li liProven experience leading operational/plant teams. Experience in plant commissioning phases is highly valued /li liStrong knowledge of operations management and production planning /li liSolid understanding of industrial maintenance practices /li liExpertise in inventory control and logistics processes /li liFamiliarity with Lean Manufacturing methodologies /li liExperience with ERP/MES systems and data analysis /li liLanguages: English and Portuguese are required.
