ppWe are looking for a bSoftware Development Engineer /b – Connectivity. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the definition and implementation of new TCU platforms. The role requires automotive or equivalent platform expertise in building scalable and high-quality product development. /p ul liLocation: Vigo, Spain /li liEmployment type: Full time / Contractor /li liWorking model: Hybrid /li /ul h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liDesign, develop, and maintain software for TCU connectivity platforms across 4G/5G, C-V2X, UWB, NFC, and CAN domains /li liWrite, code, test, and analyze software programs and applications throughout the full production lifecycle /li liReview validation logs, confirm defects, and drive resolution in collaboration with the development team /li liResearch, design, document, and modify software specifications to meet evolving platform requirements /li liIntegrate software across multiple execution contexts and domains using dynamic linking and loading techniques /li liPerform performance optimization and tuning for embedded Linux and NAD environments /li liImplement and maintain telematics features including eCall, remote services, data collection, and Phone as a Key /li liConduct static and dynamic code analysis; develop and execute unit, integration, and system test plans /li liCollaborate with cross-functional teams including validation, hardware, and cloud engineers /li liProvide mentoring, support, and technical guidance to junior engineers /li liCommunicate findings and technical decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liCollege diploma or university degree in computer science, information systems, or software engineering — plus 5–12 years of equivalent experience /li liHands‑on knowledge of: 4G/5G Modem, DSRC, C-V2X, Ultra Wide Band, NFC, CAN, Ethernet, IP, TCP/UDP, TLS/DTLS /li liFamiliarity with MQTT, OMA-DM, LWM2M, and Macchina.io framework /li liExperience with Linux, NAD, Application Processor, SoC, HSM, SEE /li liIndustry background in connectivity, cockpit, or cloud solution development (automotive or consumer) /li /ul h3Nice to have /h3 ul liDeep understanding of on‑board and off‑board connectivity platforms /li liLinux and NAD development; startup configuration, scripting, and application development /li liPerformance optimization and tuning /li liStrong grasp of quality practices: static/dynamic code analysis, unit, integration, and system testing /li liExperience with dynamic linking/loading and multi‑domain software integration /li liRadio Interface Layer and Hardware Abstraction design principles /li liMultiple vehicle architectures and diagnostics experience /li liSignal, API, and service‑oriented interface design /li liKnowledge of telematics features: eCall, remote services, data collection, Phone as a Key /li liV2X technology and applications (Day 1 and beyond) /li liKnowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws /li liAbility to communicate clearly with non‑technical stakeholders and cross‑functional teams /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
