ppbUniversity of Santiago de Compostela (USC) is looking for an IVY volunteer! /b /p pThe volunteer will support the bInterreg project “ACTIVARURALTRANSFRONTERIZO - Innovación y cuidados para una vida activa en el medio rural transfronterizo” /b, under the Programme Interreg Spain - Portugal POCTEP. /p pThe Interreg project “ACTIVARURALTRANSFRONTERIZO” addresses the challenges posed by population ageing in rural cross‑border territories between Spain and Portugal. The project aims to promote an inclusive, accessible and sustainable model of care through the creation of “Smarthaus Villages”, conceived as living labs for innovation in wellbeing, community health, care services and active ageing. The project combines community‑based approaches, social participation, digital inclusion and assistive technologies to improve quality of life, autonomy and access to essential services for older people living in rural areas.
