We operate as one company, across all locations, with shared responsibility and clear accountability. /p pThe Category Management and Strategic Sourcing Manager-PV and Major Equipment is accountable for the savings in the assigned spend category (PV and major equipment) and is responsible for developing and executing category strategies and sourcing decisions that optimize cost, quality, risk and supplier performance across Europe, Central and South America. This role leads end-to-end strategic sourcing initiatives and procurement processes including market analysis, category strategy, RFQ/RFP issuance, bid evaluation, negotiations and contract award. The role manages key supplier relationships, and partners closely with internal stakeholders including business development, engineering, construction, operations and procurement operations to ensure procurement drives measurable value for the business. /p pbThe position can be based in any Spanish-speaking country, including Seville, Madrid, Mexico City, Lima, Bogotá, Montevideo, or Santiago de Chile. /b /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul libCategory Strategy Development /b /li liAnalyze category spend, market dynamics, and internal demand to build multi-year category strategies. /li liRegularly monitor global supply markets, cost drivers and emerging trends to identify suppliers who can provide the required equipment understanding changes in local regulation in each of the countries for which the category manager is assigned. /li liMaintain deep knowledge of the global supplier landscape and benchmarking data for the PV and Major Equipment category. /li liAssess risks (supply, geopolitical, quality, ESG, commercial) and develop mitigation plans. /li liBuild business cases and obtain stakeholder alignment for the category strategy. /li libStrategic Sourcing Contracting /b ul liLead full lifecycle sourcing projects, including RFI/RFP, negotiations, evaluation, supplier selection, and award /li liDevelop, negotiate, implement, and manage multi-year, multi-region supplies framework agreements and contracts to address future demand profile of PV and Major Equipment. /li liDevelop negotiation strategies and execute commercial, technical and contractual negotiations, garnering the necessary input from stakeholders in the business including business development, engineering, construction, legal, finance /li liDraft and manage commercial terms in collaboration with legal, finance and technical teams. Propose and implement year over year cost-saving initiatives, contractual improvements, and risk mitigation measures in categories under management. /li liDeliver measurable savings and value outcomes aligned with procurement KPI. /li /ul /li liEstablish and maintain strong relationships with strategic suppliers /li liConduct performance reviews, quarterly business reviews and implement continuous improvement initiatives /li liImplement supplier governance frameworks, KPIs, SLAs and risk monitoring /li liAddress performance issues, escalates risks, and lead corrective action plans /li libProcurement Operations /b ul liWork collaboratively with Procurement Operations to develop local demand profiles and understand key local requirements and regulations for PV and Major Equipment. /li liSupport procurement operations to ensure all equipment are delivered on time and to required quality to support existing operations and new projects in the country /li liSeek feedback on supplier past performance from Procurement Operations /li liEnsure that Procurement Operations implements the contract locally, raises POs under the contract and enforces the pricing terms agreed in the framework agreement / category strategy /li /ul /li libCompliance Best Practice /b ul liEnsure adherence to internal procurement policies, regulatory requirements, and sustainability goals. /li liMaintain up-to-date and accurate procurement data across company systems. /li /ul /li /ul h3Education and Certifications /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field. A Master’s degree is a plus. /li /ul h3Experience and Technical Skills /h3 ul li7+ years of procurement, category management, orstrategic sourcing experience. /li liProven track record in contract negotiation,supplier management, and procurement of complex equipment/services in aninternational environment. /li liExperience working in a matrixed environment withcross-functional teams located in multiple geographies. /li liIndustry experience is an advantage depending oncategory scope - including renewable energy technologies, including /li liSolarPV, BESS, wind and natural gas. /li liStrategic thinking commercial acumen. /li liStrategic Sourcing Category Management. /li liData-Driven Decision Making. /li liFluent in English, Spanish is a positive. /li liExperience with procurement tools ERP (SAP,Coupa, etc.). /li liKnowledge of sustainability and lean procurementbest practices. /li /ul h3Company Culture /h3 pWe believe in a culture of trust, shared goals, and accountability.
