ph3Senior Growth Commercial Analyst, B2C /h3pbDepartment: /bMarketing /ppbEmployment Type: /bFull Time /ppbLocation: /bUK /pbr/h3Description /h3pbAbout us /b /ppWe are Digital Science and we are advancing the research ecosystem. /ppWe are a pioneering technology company, and our vision is of a future where a trusted and collaborative research ecosystem drives progress for all. We believe in better, open, collaborative and inclusive research. In creating the next generation of tools and working in partnership with the community we tackle some of the biggest challenges to research. In order to achieve our vision, we need innovative, inspiring and dynamic people to join our team. Want to join us? /ppbYour new role /b /ppThe Senior Growth Commercial Analytics Manager is the analytical engine of the B2C marketing team. You own the marketing analytics stack and the reporting that tells us what is working, what is not, and where to invest next. You also own the commercial view: the revenue, subscription, and unit economics that show whether the growth we generate is building a healthy business. Your work turns data into decisions that grow acquisition, engagement, retention, and revenue across the consumer brands. /ppThis is a senior, hands-on role with real ownership and real influence. You build and maintain the reporting the whole B2C team relies on, from campaign performance and cohort behaviour to subscription revenue, lifetime value, and marketing efficiency. You partner with marketing managers on the ground and with the VP of Marketing, B2C on the numbers that shape strategy, budget, and the commercial case for investment. You sit close to the central Data and Analytics team and to Finance, drawing on shared infrastructure while serving the specific commercial needs of the B2C portfolio. You also set the standard for how the team measures, and you help marketers become more data-fluent. /ppPlease note - due to business need, we can only accept applications from candidates who reside in the following locations where we have established legal entities: UK, Spain, Germany and Romania. /ppIf you apply from outside of these areas, your application will not be considered. /ppPlease be aware that we may close this position early if we receive a high volume of applications, so we encourage you to apply promptly. /pbr/h3What you’ll be doing /h3ulliOwn the B2C marketing analytics stack. Maintain the tools, data pipelines, and dashboards the team depends on, in partnership with the central Data and Analytics team. /liliBuild and own full-funnel reporting for all B2C brands: acquisition, activation, engagement, and retention. Make the numbers clear, trusted, and available to the people who need them. /liliOwn commercial and revenue analytics for the portfolio: subscription revenue, MRR and ARR movement, renewals, churn, and net revenue retention. Show how growth converts into a healthy business. /liliOwn the unit economics: LTV, CAC, payback period, and contribution margin. Keep them honest and defensible. /liliBuild and maintain revenue models and forecasts, including scenario and sensitivity analysis. Model the range of outcomes, not just the base case. /liliTrack budget against actual and report on marketing efficiency (CAC, payback, and return on spend) so we know which investment is paying off and which is not. /liliAnalyse pricing, packaging, and free-to-paid conversion. Quantify the commercial impact of changes and support pricing decisions with evidence. /liliDefine and track the metrics that matter. Set consistent definitions across brands so growth and commercial numbers reconcile. /liliPartner with marketing managers to measure campaign and channel performance, and with the VP of Marketing, B2C and Finance on the analysis that shapes strategy, budget, and business cases. Provide the commercial inputs behind leadership and board reporting. /liliDesign and support experimentation. Help the team run clean A/B tests and read the results honestly. /liliRaise the analytical bar across the team. Mentor on measurement and help data-curious marketers get more from the numbers. /liliUse AI tools for analysis, data preparation, modelling, reporting, and workflow efficiency. /li /ulbr/h3What you’ll bring to the role /h3ulli8+ years of experience in marketing analytics, growth analytics, and/or commercial or revenue analytics, ideally in a B2C or consumer subscription environment. /liliGenuine depth across both growth analytics and commercial analytics. This role combines two disciplines, so you should be strong in one and demonstrably capable in the other. /liliStrong commercial and financial modelling. Comfortable with revenue forecasting, subscription metrics, and unit economics (LTV, CAC, payback, margin). /liliAdvanced with spreadsheets and modelling (Excel or Google Sheets) and hands-on with BI and product analytics tools (e.g. GA4, Mixpanel or Amplitude, Looker or Tableau, or equivalents). Comfortable working with SQL. /liliExperience building dashboards and reporting that non-analysts actually use, and presenting commercial analysis to leadership. /liliExperience partnering with Finance, or a clear ability to work fluently across marketing and commercial data. /liliClear communicator. Can explain analysis simply and make a recommendation, not just present data. /liliHonest about uncertainty. Knows the difference between a signal and noise, and does not dress up a guess as a number or build false precision into a forecast. /liliCollaborative and credible. Comfortable mentoring less experienced analysts and raising the standard across a team. /liliInterest in consumer SaaS, EdTech, or research technology is valued. /li /ulpDont worry if you don't meet every qualification—let us be the judge! Studies show that many qualified candidates from under-represented groups hesitate to apply unless they meet every single requirement. We are dedicated to building a diverse and inclusive team and strongly encourage you to submit your application. /pbr/h3Living our Values /h3pWe invest in, nurture and support innovative businesses and technologies that make all parts of the research process more open, efficient and effective. /ppThe talent we secure is fundamental to us achieving our vision and our growth plans.
