ppThe bProcurement Specialist /b drives the execution of category strategies, vendor discovery, and cost-optimization initiatives. Working in partnership with the Procurement Manager, this role autonomously manages market trend analysis, identifies new global supplier pools, and leads the refinement of category cost structures. The specialist takes ownership of Total Landing Cost evaluation to ensure maximum profitability and represents the company at international trade fairs to secure competitive advantages. /p h3Duties and Responsibilities /h3 ul libAutonomous Sourcing Qualification: /b Prospect, screen, and onboard potential global suppliers independently, ensuring they meet gategroup’s stringent quality and capacity standards. /li libMarket Intelligence Trend Leadership: /b Proactively track global market trends, commodity shifts, and innovations, translating data into strategic recommendations for the category. /li libLanding Cost Ownership: /b Lead the analysis and optimization of the Total Landing Cost structure, collaborating directly with logistics and finance to eliminate hidden supply chain costs. /li libTrade Fair Vendor Vetting: /b Represent the company at international trade shows and supplier site audits to source new products, evaluate capabilities, and build direct business networks. /li libCategory Cost Fine-Tuning: /b Continuously analyze spend data within assigned categories to identify cost variances, executing optimization plans to maximize category margins. /li libContract Agreement Management: /b Negotiate and manage framework contracts, commercial terms, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs), aligning with the Procurement Manager on final approvals. /li libSupplier Performance KPIs: /b Drive supplier performance reviews by monitoring key metrics (OTIF, quality, cost), independently addressing deviations and driving continuous vendor improvement. /li libRegulatory Compliance Vendor Documentation: /b Proactively monitor new international trade, food safety, or industry-specific regulations; ensure all suppliers are fully compliant and maintain up-to-date vendor documentation and certifications. /li libSAP Master Data Management: /b Masterfully handle the creation, maintenance, and updates of new material references, part numbers, and info records within SAP to ensure seamless operational workflows. /li /ul h3Core Competencies and Requirements /h3 h3Education /h3 pBachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (ADE), International Trade, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Industrial Engineering. /p h3Work Experience /h3 ul li1 to 3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or administrative commercial roles (attitude, will /li liingness to learn, and capability are more important than long years of experience). /li liBasic experience or strong interest in international trade and global sourcing. /li liPrior exposure to calculating costs or analyzing logistics data (understanding what "landing cost" means). /li liAny hands-on experience using Excel and ERP systems (like SAP) is a big plus, but a fast-learning mindset is key. /li liAvailability to travel occasionally to international trade fairs to support supplier discovery. /li /ul h3Technical Skills /h3 ul libAdvanced mastery of MS Excel /b (data modeling, cost breakdowns) and bhands-on proficiency in SAP ERP /b (specifically Master Data creation, MM module, or e-Sourcing tools) is highly required. /li libSolid knowledge of foreign trade operations /b, customs regulations, and international logistics. /li libFull professional proficiency in English /b (fluent spoken and written corporate communication). /li /ul h3Core Competencies Required /h3 pA self-driven professional focused on delivering category savings, meeting deadlines, and executing projects with minimal supervision. /p pAbility to influence stakeholders, pitch cost-saving initiatives, and lead firm but fair commercial negotiations. /p pExcellent communication and relationship-building skills to collaborate with global vendors and cross-functional internal teams. /p pStrong analytical mindset to independently dissect complex cost structures, read market shifts, and solve supply chain bottlenecks. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
