Job Description Position Summary The Warehouse Associate is a hands-on shipping, receiving, inventory, and material-control position. This person receives and identifies incoming material, preserves quality status and traceability, maintains accurate inventory records, picks and kits parts, packages and ships customer orders, completes assigned Sage 100 and carrier transactions, and immediately reports shortages, damage, documentation gaps, system errors, and safety concerns. What You Will Do • Receive deliveries; inspect external packaging; count material; and match purchase orders, packing lists, part numbers, quantities, lot/serial information, and required documents., • Identify and segregate material by status, including pending inspection, released inventory, quarantine/nonconforming material, returns/RMAs, and shipment staging., • Route incoming material and documents to Quality without bypassing required inspection or release controls., • Complete authorized Sage 100 receipts, inventory moves, picks, issues, shipping entries, and location updates using your own credentials., • Put away released inventory accurately by part number, lot/serial, quantity, status, unit of measure, and assigned bin., • Pick sales and work orders, build approved kits, preserve traceability, and obtain an independent order check when required., • Pack and label aerospace filtration products; record actual weights, dimensions, freight, tracking numbers, and shipment documents; and tender packages to approved carriers., • Perform cycle counts, recount discrepancies, document variances, and report facts before any inventory adjustment is made., • Receive, identify, photograph, quarantine, and route returns and freight-damage evidence., • Maintain safe lifting, PPE, equipment, FOD, ESD, security, housekeeping, and clean-as-you-go standards., • Complete the Daily Warehouse Closeout and escalate any issue that may affect quality, traceability, inventory accuracy, safety, cost, or a customer commitment. Minimum Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent., • Ability to read and compare part numbers, quantities, purchase orders, sales orders, packing lists, labels, lot/serial information, and written work instructions accurately., • Basic computer proficiency and the ability to learn Sage 100, shipping portals, barcode/scanner tools, shared documents, and company communication systems., • Dependable attendance, clear communication, strong organization, and the discipline to document and escalate problems instead of using an unapproved workaround., • Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, stoop, push, pull, and lift/carry up to 50 pounds safely, with or without reasonable accommodation., • Ability to operate forklifts or powered equipment only after company training, authorization, and any required certification. Preferred Qualifications • One or more years of warehouse, shipping/receiving, inventory, aerospace, manufacturing, distribution, or regulated-parts experience., • Experience with Sage 100 or another ERP/inventory system and with UPS, FedEx, DHL, freight, or similar carrier portals., • Experience protecting lot/serial traceability, status segregation, controlled documentation, FOD, ESD, cycle-count, or quality-system requirements. What Success Looks Like • Orders are picked, checked, packaged, documented, and ready before the approved carrier cutoff., • Every receipt is identified and status-controlled the same business day., • Inventory stays in the correct bin, status, quantity, lot/serial record, and physical condition., • Known errors, shortages, damage, delays, and safety issues are contained and reported during the same shift., • The warehouse remains clean, secure, FOD-controlled, organized, and audit-ready.
