Job DescriptionGeneral Laborer I – Entry‑Level | Clean Facility | Growth Opportunities Join a reputable chemical production company where you’ll rotate through light‑duty tasks on a clean, organized production line. What You’ll Do • Rotate through multiple production tasks including packaging, palletizing, capping containers, and assembling boxes, • Package detergent blocks and other chemical products according to production standards, • Stack finished products onto pallets using equipment designed to reduce bending and strain, • Lift up to 15 lbs consistently while following safe lifting practices, • Cap tubs and containers with the option to sit at this station, • Assemble boxes and prepare packaging materials, • Tag and label containers with accurate identifying information, • Follow work orders or verbal instructions to determine materials and tasks, • Record daily production numbers using sheets or work tickets, • Move materials between storage, production, and loading areas, • Sort cargo before loading/unloading, • Assemble crates using hand tools and precut materials, • Load and unload materials using hoisting devices when applicable, • Repack damaged containers to meet quality standards, • Maintain tools and supplies by returning them after use, • Participate in cleaning and training during the first and last hour of each shift, • Follow safety procedures when working with chemical products, • Collaborate with team members to maintain smooth workflowEssential Skills, • High school diploma or GED, • 0–2 years general labor experience, • Manufacturing experience preferred (chemical experience a plus), • Ability to lift 15 lbs consistently, • Steel‑toe boots required, • Basic communication skills, • Problem‑solving ability, • Attention to detail in packaging and labeling, • Ability to learn equipment safely, • Reliable attendance Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.Preferred Experience, • Chemical production experience, • Packaging or palletizing experience, • General warehouse or production experience, • Familiarity with cleaning procedures, • Comfort with hand tools, • Interest in machine operation and future chemical mixingWhy Work Here, • Clear advancement paths into machine operation and chemical mixing, • Onsite chef offering affordable breakfast and lunch, • Onsite physical therapist available at no cost to employees, • Super clean, organized facility with climate‑controlled floors, • Flexible hours available after demonstrating reliability, • Strong focus on training, safety, and long‑term developmentWork Environment, • Clean, multi‑floor production facility (bottom floor for this role), • Two of three floors are climate controlled, • Monday–Friday schedule, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., with three breaks, • First and last hour dedicated to cleaning and training, • Light to moderate physical activity (lifting up to 15 lbs), • Standing or sitting depending on station, • Use of palletizing equipment, hand tools, and basic material handling devices, • Steel‑toe boots required, • Work around chemical products in a controlled, safety‑focused environmentJob Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Saint Paul, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
