Job Description Job Summary The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for the company, creating a positive first impression for visitors, customers, vendors, and employees. This position is responsible for managing the front desk, handling incoming communications, maintaining visitor security procedures, and providing administrative support to the Credit Department and other departments as needed. Essential Functions · Greet and welcome visitors, customers, vendors, and employees in a courteous, professional, and customer-focused manner. · Answer, screen, and direct incoming telephone calls promptly and accurately using a multi-line phone system. · Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area. · Receive incoming mail, packages, and deliveries, and notify the appropriate employees for pickup. · Provide administrative support to the Credit Department, including assisting with packing slip verification and related clerical tasks. Training will be provided. · Respond to routine inquiries and direct more complex questions to the appropriate department or team member. · Assist with additional administrative projects and duties as assigned. · Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive company and employee information. Qualifications · High school diploma or equivalent. · Previous receptionist, administrative, or customer service experience preferred. · Excellent verbal and written communication skills. · Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills. · Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, and Excel) and basic computer systems. · Experience operating a multi-line telephone system is preferred. · Ability to communicate effectively and provide excellent customer service. Work Environment · Full-time, on-site position located in Valencia, California. · Typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Occasional overtime or schedule adjustments may be required based on business needs. · Primarily an office-based position with frequent interaction with employees, customers, vendors, and visitors. Physical Requirements · Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday. · Ability to use a computer, telephone, and other standard office equipment for extended periods. · Ability to occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 20 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
