Job Description Shipping and Receiving Specialist 7 AM - 4:30 PM Job Description This role focuses on coordinating all aspects of shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accurate documentation, proper handling of materials, and timely movement of goods. You will manage incoming and outgoing shipments, maintain detailed inventory records, and support warehouse activities to keep products organized, secure, and ready for distribution. Success in this position requires strong attention to detail, solid organizational skills, and hands-on experience with logistics and international shipping. Responsibilities • Receive incoming materials and verify quantities and quality against shipping documents., • Inspect incoming shipments and promptly report any shipping discrepancies or damaged goods., • Prepare and maintain accurate shipping documentation, including bills of lading and related records., • Record and track shipment data and update inventory records in a timely and precise manner., • Perform material handling activities, including stocking, storage, and distribution of products within the warehouse., • Complete job kitting based on pick lists to ensure correct materials are prepared for production or shipment., • Package and label materials and products for shipment according to internal standards and customer requirements., • Coordinate logistics for domestic and international shipping, ensuring compliance with shipping procedures and documentation requirements., • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment by following housekeeping and safety practices., • Collaborate with team members to resolve shipping and inventory issues and support continuous improvement in warehouse processes. Essential Skills • Hands-on experience in shipping and receiving operations., • Practical knowledge of logistics processes, including coordination of shipments., • International shipping experience (international shipping is required)., • Ability to maintain accurate inventory records and track shipment data., • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when verifying quantities, quality, and documentation., • Ability to sort, count, and verify inventory efficiently., • Good organizational skills to manage multiple shipments and tasks simultaneously., • Experience using Microsoft Office and/or inventory management software., • Ability to move throughout a warehouse environment, including frequent stretching, reaching, squatting, and accessing storage areas., • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and handle materials safely., • Comfort working in warehouse and loading dock conditions. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Valencia, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr.
