Job DescriptionMaintenance Technician Location: Denver, CO Job Type: Contract-to-Hire Pay: $35-$41/hour + Overtime Job Description A growing manufacturing facility in Denver is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support production equipment and facility operations on a newly established 2nd shift. This role is ideal for a well-rounded technician who can work independently, troubleshoot complex equipment issues, and perform both preventative and reactive maintenance in a fast-paced production environment. The successful candidate will play a critical role in minimizing downtime, maximizing equipment efficiency, and supporting a rapidly expanding operation. Schedule 2nd Shift • Monday - Thursday, • 5:30 PM - 4:00 AM, • Overtime available as neededResponsibilities, • Perform preventative and emergency maintenance on production equipment., • Troubleshoot and repair motors, drives, belts, chains, gearboxes, valves, fillers, labelers, and sorting equipment., • Diagnose and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems., • Troubleshoot photo-eye sensors and 480V three-phase electrical systems., • Assist with PLC troubleshooting and equipment diagnostics., • Maintain facility systems including compressors, boilers, chillers, HVAC, and plumbing., • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings., • Complete inspections, repairs, and maintenance documentation., • Support continuous improvement initiatives and equipment reliability efforts., • Work independently while ensuring safe and efficient plant operations.QualificationsRequired, • Strong understanding of mechanical theory and industrial maintenance processes., • Experience performing preventative and reactive maintenance in a manufacturing environment., • Hands-on experience with:, • Motors, drives, belts, chains, and gearboxes, • Pneumatic and hydraulic systems, • Electrical troubleshooting, • 480V three-phase systems, • PLC-controlled equipment, • Ability to read blueprints and schematics., • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Preferred, • Welding and fabrication experience., • Experience in food and beverage manufacturing., • Knowledge of GMP or FDA-regulated environments., • Experience supporting high-speed production equipment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Denver, CO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $43.00/hr.
