You will assist with legal research, discovery, case management, trial preparation, document review, court filing support, evidence management, legal writing, and organization of litigation materials. \n This position is ideal for experienced paralegals who thrive in deadline-driven environments, possess exceptional organizational skills, and enjoy contributing to high-impact litigation efforts. \n \n Responsibilities: \n Litigation & Case Management \n\n • Support Assistant United States Attorneys throughout all phases of litigation.\n, • Organize, analyze, summarize, and maintain complex case files and litigation records.\n, • Prepare case chronologies, witness files, exhibit lists, document indexes, and trial notebooks.\n, • Track litigation deadlines, discovery milestones, court schedules, hearings, and filing dates.\n, • Assist with hearings, depositions, mediations, interviews, and trial preparation activities.\n\n Legal Research & Writing \n\n • Conduct legal and factual research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, PACER, CM/ECF, public records sources, and other approved legal resources.\n, • Draft legal memoranda, correspondence, factual summaries, case reports, and litigation support documents.\n, • Assist with preparation and review of motions, briefs, pleadings, subpoenas, declarations, proposed orders, and court filings.\n, • Review legal documents for accuracy, consistency, formatting, and completeness.\n\n Discovery & eDiscovery \n\n • Support document review, discovery organization, production tracking, and evidence management.\n, • Maintain discovery indexes, document logs, production trackers, privilege logs, and litigation databases.\n, • Assist with electronic discovery projects and large-volume document review.\n, • Organize paper and electronic records for attorney review and case development.\n\n Trial Support \n\n • Prepare trial notebooks, witness binders, exhibit binders, demonstrative materials, and courtroom reference documents.\n, • Coordinate witness files, subpoenas, exhibit lists, and hearing/trial logistics.\n, • Maintain control and organization of exhibits, evidence, and trial materials.\n, • Provide litigation support during hearings, proceedings, and trials as assigned.\n\n \n Ready to work with DiverseGOV to support the mission of the U.S. Department of Justice?
