Job DescriptionJob Title: Receiving SpecialistJob Description This role focuses on handling returned medical trays and components, accurately documenting all information in computer systems, and rebuilding trays to established standards. The position supports cleanroom operations by preparing, labeling, and moving trays through sanitizing and sterilizing processes while maintaining high quality and safety standards. Responsibilities • Receive used surgical trays and ensure they enter the appropriate sanitizer or sterilizing machines according to established procedures., • Handle all returns by accurately documenting information in the computer system and maintaining clear, complete records., • Enter part numbers and related data into the Oracle system with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail., • Label products and trays clearly and correctly to support traceability and efficient processing., • Assemble and rebuild medical trays in accordance with detailed work instructions and quality standards., • Perform packing tasks to prepare trays and components for the next stage of processing or shipment., • Support cleanroom duties as needed, following all process, cleanliness, and safety requirements., • Follow documented procedures and quality assurance guidelines to ensure consistent, high-quality output., • Move trays between different areas of the process, ensuring smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks., • Sit for extended periods (approximately 60% of the day) to complete detailed tray assembly work while maintaining focus and precision., • Lift and carry trays or components weighing up to 30 pounds multiple times per day without assistance., • Collaborate with team members while also working independently to meet daily production and quality goals., • Adapt to process changes and learn new procedures as operations and requirements evolve., • Use Microsoft applications, Outlook, and Teams to communicate, access information, and coordinate work activities., • Work scheduled shifts of 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. and occasionally 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. (for one week every 4–6 weeks), with some overtime as needed to support operational demands.Essential Skills, • Strong data entry skills with the ability to accurately input part numbers and other information into Oracle and related systems., • High attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation, labeling, and assembly of medical trays and small components., • Experience with assembly work, preferably in a medical or similarly detailed environment., • Ability to work both independently and as part of a group to complete shared goals., • Proficiency with computers, including Oracle, Microsoft applications, Outlook, and Teams, with willingness to learn specific Oracle systems., • Capability to lift up to 30 pounds multiple times per day unassisted., • Ability to sit for long periods (approximately 60% of the day) while maintaining focus on detailed tasks., • Comfort with moving trays and components between different process areas throughout the day., • Strong ability to retain information and consistently follow established processes and work instructions., • Capacity to learn multiple processes and adapt to procedural changes as needed., • Good vision or corrected vision sufficient to handle small components and notice fine details., • Willingness to wear a lab coat, gloves, and safety glasses when required for specific tasks.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Assembly background in a medical environment is preferred but not required., • Experience working in a clean, climate-controlled production or cleanroom setting is beneficial., • Demonstrated ability to maintain focus and productivity during repetitive, detail-oriented work., • Comfort using collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams and Outlook for communication and coordination., • Openness to training on new systems and processes, including Oracle-based applications.Why Work Here? The role involves sitting approximately 60% of the time for detailed tray assembly and spending about 40% of the time moving trays and materials between process areas. Employees lift up to 30 pounds unassisted multiple times per day and work closely with a team in a collaborative environment. Standard tools and systems include Oracle, Microsoft applications, Outlook, and Teams, with training provided on specific Oracle systems. The typical schedule is 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., with an additional 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. shift worked for one week every 4–6 weeks, and some overtime may be required. When tasks or safety conditions require it, employees wear a lab coat, gloves, and safety glasses as part of the standard attire. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lewisville, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.
