MRI Technologist, Medical City Alliance, Fort Worth, Texas This is a PRN Seasonal position (see requirements below) Pay: $52/hr. Seasonal program is from September 20, 2026 to April 3, 2027 PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS • All seasonal Therapists are required to work a minimum of 72 hours per pay period during the seasonal period., • Within a close geography, you may be asked to float to another facility that has an emergency staffing need., • Four (4) weekend shifts are required for 4-week schedule period., • During the 32-week period, the employee is required to work two (2) holiday shifts (determined by Department Manager)., • Seasonal Staff are PRN status employees and are subject to first call-off. There are no guaranteed hours by the hospital., • Seasonal Staff will not be eligible for extra shift bonuses., • Therapists who are in the Seasonal program will have one opportunity to pass the clinical competency evaluation., • Current FT/PT & PRN employees are not eligible to join the Seasonal program for 2026-27., • Current employees of HWS are not eligible for the seasonal program., • Shifts may vary based upon the needs of the department. Job Summary and Qualifications Performs all job functions of the MRI Technologist. Must be able to be on an on-call status and respond within thirty (30) minutes of notification. The MRI Tech conducts procedures to provide data to assist in the diagnosis of patients. The position's tasks and responsibilities include: • Demonstrates responsibility and accountability in the performance of magnetic resonance assessment and reassessment and implementation of the patient's orders in accordance with the department and organizational standards and policies, • Positions and prepares patients for exams according to the type of procedure to be performed, • Completes appropriate documentation for each study performed, • Performs all computer and PACS functions, • Observes safety regulations and aseptic practice techniques to protect patients and staff, • Maintains thorough knowledge of the scanners and exam protocols in order to ensure the highest quality procedures, • Utilizes knowledge of age specific needs of patient in performance of duties and responsibilities., • Orients and mentors new staff members., • Provides a safe environment for administering contrast material., • Assists with transporting patients., • Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required., • Excellent communication and customer service skills., • Ability to work with minimal supervision., • Ability to make independent decisions while maintaining tact, maturity and a positive attitude. Initiative and judgment required in assuming responsibilities., • Operates x-ray equipment to make radiographs of designated portions of the body., • Under the supervision of a Radiologist, performs x-ray/fluoro procedures on patients., • Explains procedures to patients and addresses their concerns., • May administer barium salts or other chemical mixtures., • Operates stationary equipment and/or portable equipment used in the Emergency Department, Operating Room and at patient bedside., • Takes pictures and develops film. What qualifications you will need: Education/Skills • Technical or vocational training Experience • Prefer at least 1 year of MRI experience Licenses, Registrations and/or Certifications • ARRT (MR), MRT or ARDMS, and BLS obtained from HCA approved vendor.
