Job Description PARALEGAL POSITION SUMMARY We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Paralegal to provide comprehensive legal and administrative support to our attorneys. The Paralegal will assist with case management, legal research, document preparation, client communication, and trial preparation. This role requires excellent organizational skills, strong written and verbal communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. RESPONSIBILITIES • Conduct legal research using online databases and other legal resources., • Draft, proofread, and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, contracts, discovery requests, and correspondence., • Organize and maintain physical and electronic case files., • Monitor case deadlines and maintain attorney calendars., • Coordinate document production and discovery responses., • Prepare exhibits, evidence, and trial notebooks for hearings, mediations, and trials., • Communicate professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and third parties., • Schedule meetings, depositions, hearings, and client appointments., • Review and summarize legal documents, medical records, and other case materials., • Assist attorneys with trial preparation and courtroom support., • Maintain confidentiality of client information and comply with all legal and ethical standards., • Perform other legal and administrative duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS • Associate's degree or bachelor's degree preferred., • Paralegal certificate from an accredited program preferred., • Previous experience as a paralegal or legal assistant preferred., • Knowledge of legal terminology, court procedures, and legal document preparation., • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software., • Excellent research, writing, and organizational skills., • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines., • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment., • Professional communication and interpersonal skills., • Experience with e-filing in state and federal courts., • Familiarity with document management and billing software., • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities., • Ability to prioritize multiple assignments in a deadline-driven environment.
