Job Description Job Title: Electrician Foreman Job Description This role oversees electrical work on a high-end, ground-up residential project, ensuring safe, precise, and code-compliant installations. You work independently in the field, coordinate tasks related to conduit and wiring, and deliver high-quality finish work in an upscale apartment complex environment. Responsibilities • Work independently on a high-end, ground-up residential construction project, managing day-to-day electrical tasks on site., • Dig holes to expose existing or planned conduit runs in accordance with project plans and safety standards., • Backfill and properly restore holes and trenches once conduit layout and installation are complete., • Install, route, and secure conduit for residential electrical systems, ensuring clean, organized, and code-compliant installations., • Perform wiring and terminations for residential units and common areas, following project specifications and electrical codes., • Complete high-quality finish work, including trim, device installation, and final connections in a high-end apartment complex., • Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics to plan layouts, identify circuits, and coordinate installation details., • Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to install, assemble, and secure electrical components and equipment., • Troubleshoot electrical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions during construction and finish phases., • Coordinate with other trades on site to maintain workflow, avoid conflicts, and support overall project timelines., • Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE, safe excavation practices, and adherence to site safety rules., • Inspect completed work for quality, accuracy, and compliance with project requirements before sign-off. Essential Skills • Proven experience performing electrical work on high-end residential or apartment complex projects., • Ability to work independently on a ground-up construction site without constant supervision., • Strong skills in conduit installation and conduit bending for residential applications., • Proficiency in wiring installation, including layout, pulling, and terminating conductors., • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics accurately., • Experience performing detailed finish work, including trim and device installation, in high-end residential environments., • Hands-on experience using basic hand tools and power tools for electrical construction., • Troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve electrical issues during construction and finish stages., • Mechanical aptitude to handle physical aspects of construction, including digging, lifting, and working with tools., • Commitment to following safety procedures and using appropriate PPE at all times., • E2 Certification Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience working on large, multi-unit residential or apartment complex projects., • Familiarity with high-end residential standards for fit, finish, and workmanship., • Comfort working from detailed construction documents and coordinating with other trades., • Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering clean, professional electrical installations. The work involves physical tasks, including digging to expose conduit, handling materials, and working on ladders or in confined areas as needed. You regularly use basic hand tools and power tools, along with standard electrical equipment, while wearing appropriate PPE provided on site or required by the project. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenwich, CT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $35.00/hr.
