Role Highlights • Install, maintain, and repair complex plant electrical equipment and circuits, • Troubleshoot control systems to prevent and minimize downtime, • Execute preventive/corrective maintenance with a safety-first mindset aligned to OSHA and GM standards, • Interpret electrical drawings and wiring schematics to plan, diagnose, and execute work, • Collaborate across departments and contribute to continuous improvement, • Apply strong problem-solving and analytical skills What You Bring, • 6+ years as an Electrician or a U.S. Department of Labor Electrical trade Certificate of Completion, • Age 18 or older, • Flexibility to work day/afternoon/night shifts, plus overtime, weekends, and holidays with limited notice, • Hands-on capability across: Electrical Troubleshooting Skills; Electrical Installation; Electrical Troubleshooting; Electrical Repair; Electrical / Electronic Systems; Industrial Electrical Experience; Industrial Electrical Systems Pay and Path, • Role may be filled as Journeyperson In Training (JIT): $37.77–$44.06, • Journeyperson rate: $44.96, • Status and pay are determined by your certificates/credentials and interview performance Physical Demands, • Rapid response to safety instructions, alarms, and signals, • Sustained standing; occasional sitting, • PPE use; navigation of a busy industrial setting, • Bending, twisting, kneeling, crouching, and reaching, • Lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs. (varies by department), • Operation of mobile equipment as required Location and Work Model Onsite: report to a GM facility on a full-time basis.
