Job DescriptionJob Title: Transloader / Material Handler Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Transloader / Material Handler to join our team and support outdoor transloading operations. This role involves working in an industrial environment around rail cars, chemical hoses, regulated materials, PPE, and equipment. The primary focus is on hands-on transloading work, which is conducted mostly outdoors with limited shelter. Responsibilities • Perform transloading duties in a rail car and industrial environment., • Work with chemical hoses and material handling equipment., • Wear required PPE, including respirators, Tyvek suits, fall protection, and other safety gear., • Climb equipment and work safely at heights when needed., • Follow safety procedures while working around chemicals and industrial materials., • Support outdoor site operations in all weather conditions., • Participate in company-provided training, including HazWoper certification if not already certified. Essential Skills • Experience in material handling, especially around rail cars or rail spurs., • Comfortable working outdoors for the majority of the day., • Comfortable wearing respirator, Tyvek suit, fall protection, and required PPE., • Able to work around chemicals and industrial equipment., • Must be clean shaven due to respirator requirements., • Able to work overtime and a 6-day schedule as needed., • High school diploma required. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience in chemical handling or working around chemicals., • Oil and gas industry experience., • Environmental services experience., • Experience in regulated or non-regulated material handling., • Warehouse or general material handling experience may be considered if the candidate is trainable. The team typically works Monday through Friday, with generous overtime opportunities and a 6-day workweek, including either Saturday or Sunday. Start times are generally around 6:00–6:30 AM, adjusted based on seasonal permit/sunlight hours. Facilities include an office trailer with shade, AC, shore power, and areas for reprieve, but the actual work is performed outside. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Commerce City, CO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr.
