Job Description Note: This role can be filled as an: Associate Analyst, TFO Support, Analyst, TFO Support, or Senior Analyst, TFO Support based on education and experience. JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE The Senior TFO Support Analyst provides support through data collection, analysis, and reporting to improve operational performance and strategic decision-making. This role ensures accurate data interpretation and actionable insights across multiple business units and also acts as an informal leader to other analyst positions, mentoring and training them as needed. ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Lead and support the design, enhancement, testing, implementation, and training of complex operational systems, including meter reading, leak survey, cathodic protection, and measurement systems, • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for system functionality, data interpretation, and process standards; research and develop responses to technical inquiries from Gas Operations and other stakeholders, • Perform advanced analysis of equipment, asset, and compliance records to ensure adherence to regulatory and internal governance requirements, • Identify, analyze, and resolve complex data, system, and GIS mapping issues; provide guidance on corrective actions and process improvements, • Lead the creation, analysis, and communication of error reports, trends, risks, and compliance indicators to management and operational leadership, • Develop, enhance, and oversee dashboards, performance metrics, and analytical models using Power BI and enterprise data platforms; identify trends, opportunities, and risks, • Assume a lead role in system testing, validation, and quality assurance for new and existing functionality, • Create and maintain reports that help management ensure personnel meet operator qualification requirements; monitor anomalies, • Support and advise TFO supervisors and leadership regarding operational reporting, analysis, and decision-making, • Manage multiple competing priorities independently in a fast‑paced environment while consistently delivering high‑quality results, • Exercise a high level of professionalism, tact, and judgment when working with internal and external stakeholders, • Safeguard confidential and sensitive information in accordance with company policy, • Work effectively in team‑based and cross‑functional environments and occasionally provide guidance or informal mentorship to analysts, • Exercise independent judgment, anticipate potential risks, and evaluate potential impacts of decisions, • Lead client and stakeholder discussions to define business needs and scope requirements and recommend solutions. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Minimum education required of the position • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (business administration, computer science, engineering, etc.), • Will consider a combination of education and related experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree. Minimum experience required of the position • Senior Analyst, TFO Support: Requires 4+ years of experience in utility billing/metering systems, work management systems, and/or data analysis and reporting. Must have experience with SQL, Excel, and BI tools (e.g., Power BI or Tableau). Experience with Oracle Cloud, Microsoft Fabric, and enterprise systems such as Maximo, SAP, and similar platforms is preferred. • Analyst, TFO Support: Requires 2-4 years of experience in utility billing/metering systems, work management systems, and/or data analysis and reporting. Must have experience with SQL, Excel, and BI tools (e.g., Power BI or Tableau). Experience with Oracle Cloud, Microsoft Fabric, and enterprise systems such as Maximo, SAP, and similar platforms is preferred. • Associate Analyst, TFO Support: Requires 0-2 years of experience in utility billing/metering systems, work management systems, and/or data analysis and reporting. Must have experience with SQL, Excel, and BI tools (e.g., Power BI or Tableau). Experience with Oracle Cloud, Microsoft Fabric, and enterprise systems such as Maximo, SAP, and similar platforms is preferred Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities preferred of the position • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, • Knowledge of utility or energy industry operations, • Exhibit strong proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, and enterprise‑level database and data warehousing technologies, including Oracle, SAP HANA, and Google BigQuery, • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present insights and recommendations to varied audiences, • Demonstrate advanced knowledge of organizational strategies and proactively identify analyst‑level and cross‑functional opportunities to support business objectives Any certifications, licenses, etc. required for the position • None Physical Requirements • Able to operate a personal computer, either desktop or laptop., • Able to sit for extended periods of time., • Able to operate a copy machine, fax machine, calculator, telephone, and other miscellaneous office equipment., • Able to exert up to 10 lb of force occasionally and/or a minimal amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, or move objects.
